Hey guys, anyone out here know how to reach the guy(s) behind the Sins of a Blue Planet mod? I've messaged them on their facebook group as well as on hard-light.net's forums, but have yet to get a reply. I'm getting pretty handy at swapping things around and modding game files (but still am defeated by modeling - but we'll ignore that for now) and am wanting to see if I can help out.
Failing that, if the mod's dead, anyone have any leftover data I can borrow, to try and move it forward? There's a Freespace-Tactics mod on moddb, but it's barely complete and the game pacing is abysmally slow. I have the assets from that I can use as a base, but have this insane idea of compiling enough assets - from which I've managed to acquire from various other game mods - to potentially put something amazing together. I have a base Distant Stars mod with Sol System tilesets for planets I can use as a base, and have already started shuffling entity and mesh files around, but converting ships from, say, homeworld 2's format to an XSI, while doable, is a real pain.
