So, I plan my total conversion mod to have this unit type where you get a ship spawn randomly and lie dormant, basically labled as artifact, and you have to activate it by researching the ability and building the required base.
You can communicate with this unit via text, with an additional tab in the menu. Considering that Sins of the Prophets has an admiralty tab, it won't be hard, won't it?
