Are you using a merge tool to make your work easier? With that one [link="http://winmerge.org/"]http://winmerge.org/[/link] you can even compare folders content. It will compare all files and tell you wich ones have changed. I just want to see the 1.3 version of TME as soon as possible... I ditched the game since 1.3.. game is boring without TME :-)

I tested my files again this weekend, when all Hyperspace updates are stacked, you get around 1200% bonus to hyperspace speed. It is still credible and look great! As an exemple, one of my Dreadnaught entered hyperspace approx 15 sec after and ennemy fleet, on a very long jump. I could see my Dread slowly doubling them and I got to destination 5-10 sec before the ennemy fleet. It make a really important strategic difference to use that mod. ******
just readability
I'm still tweaking the values The tutorial most important parts are there. Links for my files have been added. Mod is compatible and tested with V1.02 only ATM Tip: For all the apprentice modders, download WinMerge ! A tool to compare modifications between files.
Thx for the fix :CONGRAT: It is working now.
Thx for the update Kryo ! :CONGRAT: It is working now.

I did some test with speed. Research 0 35% Max level 4 + Research 1 65% Maxlevel2 I can defenetly see a good speed difference, but it is not at the point where I'm satisfied. I think I'll do a Research 0 35% maxlevel = 5 + Research 1 85% maxlevel = 2 As for the Basevalue, I'll do more test to be sure it override the perlevelvalue. I could then put a base of 80% with 4x
I loved my Scorpion. It was called "Headache" ... (:( "Headache" died... after 6 months of flawless flight and corpmate ass saving. Piloting mistake... "Headache 2" Will be better :(
The first part of my mod is completed, and can tell you that 25% increase in speed is nothing when playing a huge map. I tryed, yesterday, to put my ship in a long jump that would take at least 10 min to complete. And started the reserach to see if the speed difference was noticable. 25% is not. Here is my setings in the research files Research upgrade0 per level = 25% levels = 2 Tonight I will further experiment by changing this: <b
IMO Moms are more usefull then Titans :p and if you guys don't know what to do with it... Can I get your ISK? Your new race is incredible. good work!
I like your idea of better classifying the orbital bodies for a more realistic game. personnaly, I would like to see binary solar systems, with a big start with a smaller one orbiting close to the priamary one. And maybe also using whormholes as replacement for stars. Idk what kind of orbital bodies would live around a whorhole tho.
Is the forum repaired yet? (:( X-( :SNIFF!:
Squares for new planet types? I also had it. From what I remember, I think my solution was to download Uzii's mod latest version, take only the textures and mesh and merge them in Mars effect.
Yeah... I think I'm dumb then, I can't see it... Only -create new post -Quote -Reply
LOL WHERE IS THE EDIT BUTTON FOR THE MAIN POST ON THIS FORUM ? Bah! Moderators are there for something :-) Can one of you delete the part of my main post Where the Tutorial start? [update moved to OP by moderator]
How to "upgrade" ship speed in between 2 planets without changing the ship's in-game overall speed? Let's create a new technology! Really usefull on huge maps. I found how it works, how the layout of the research tree work so you can add your research and rezise / move the 3 block that form the subcategories. I know I'm not the first one to modify the Research tree, but I intend to teach you how to add this technology over any other mods. I personnaly use "The Mars Effect"
