Sweet like a lemon....now where did I put me credit card...
dukeofchutney
....except I seeing in my dyslexic haste to set it up, I misspelt it...sigh...fixed it now...
Bit of an odd one this...my second name is Storm...don't ask... So seeing as some one had already grabbed Storm, I went for Squall...except some one had already grabbed that...so I tried 5qu4ll H4xor's rule...or something to that effect... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0
only most of sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia...shall I go on...?
Woohoo! Yeah!
It be a shell manager me 'andsome.
Right, try this for size, then I'm off to bed... There are 2 vampire bats stuck in a cave with a howling gale outside that's raged for 4 days - which basically means they're now hungry... Suddenly one of the bats turns to the other and says: "That's it, I've had enough, I'm going out to find fresh blood!"...and off he flies. Not 5 minutes later and he's back, with fresh blood smeared all over his mouth. "Were did you get it, were did you get it?", says the other bat ex
Sigh, For my part, I think the way Bob's running the show right now makes sense...bandwidth and servers and maintenance contracts cost money, money doesn't grow on trees so he resorted to the law of supply and demand. People like a good time, but a good time costs money (a.k.a. there's no such thing as a free lunch), so you contribute something and that way Bob keeps the party going, and the paying customers get a good time. The cost ISN'T exorbitant, so we pay up and apprecia
Go boy! Looking forward to the new goodies on Desktop X and WindowBlinds.
JamMeister33 - I took the advice, so now it's no more MarkL, but squall - or as it's rendered here: 5qu4ll - seeing as squall was already taken. As I said before, my second name is Storm - so in keeping with the tradition, my nick is 5q4ull. I fink I'm happy now. ..easy to please, easy to please... <img
Sigh, this nick business caught me out...so without thinking it through I strung my surnames first letter onto the end of my first name... I would've liked to have been "squall" or sum'it along those lines - seeing as Storm is my second name - but hey, it wasn't to be... Maybe one day I'll be sufficiently awake to get it right... <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=
Eh? Did some one say .51 is out....? Zzzzzzzzziiippp..........screeeeeeec-ch-ch-ch!!
Very nice, curry and rice - lap it up in chunks! The Custom Engine works a treat on my old 400Mhz, 192MEG RAM, 8MEG Graphics, steam-driven clunker.
Tried it - liked it - recommend it. Our company has a bunch of pages out on the Net that help us keep up with some client-wide stats and stuff, so I'm on and off the Net constantly - this compliments the way I work well. I set it up to run as close to a normal browser as possible and it's working just fine.
Oh well if you can't beat 'em, join 'em......I'm listening to "the sounds of silence".......all the kids (3) and the wife (1 plus 1 in tummy) are asleep, leaving me to prowl WinCusto in peace and quiet! Sorry to say it may not last, my wife's over due by 8 days already, it could all break loose at the drop of a...a...well, at the drop of a baby! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/jo
Oh for the old days - you know, when men were men, pansies were flowers, sheep were scared....and WinCusto didn't have a "What ya listenin' to at the moment?" thread...sniff
tallenglish - bloatware aside (which most of the popular programs today suffer from), I still think Easy CD Creator is easier to use; it picks some straight forward defaults, doesn't harass you with that Nero wizard thingymajig at startup and just gets on with the burn - no checking Joliet-so-n-so, no "CD is copyright" warnings, ad infinitum, ad nauseaum. Radial_FX - I should take a photo of the wall behind this PC and post it up for everyone to see - I stuck all the "coffee-coasters" N
Oi - you having a go at us kack-handers by any chance...wanna step outside? > ...if I'm not there in 5 minutes...start without me... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered
Mmmmmm...from past experience, I would beg to differ...I have to admit although nowadays I use Nero Burning ROM at work and at home, I prefer Easy CD Creator - precisely because as its name indicates, it's easy to use. But then again, one man's meat...
Woodbridge, Woodbridge, sigh...er I fink 'e meant 8 PERCENT, me 'andsome!
Yup, certainly noticing the difference - AND I'm behind a 56K modem with 2 bits of wet string as a phone line...
Wow, blown away....pick myself up, dust myself off...very impressive! I came, I saw, I bought...
Mmmmmmmm, meant to ALSO say - that it was a very interesting read - both from a past history and future prospects perspective.
Boy those kids are precisely that....kids. Give me WinCusto message boards any day.
Besides at this level it becomes a numbers game - the vast majority of internet users use IE...so we program for the masses...says he, neatly side-stepping flames from AOL and Netscape users.
