I wish you didn't have all those problems. I've always had good experiences with Windowblinds, Objectdock, etc. I've noticed the flickery start menu, but it only happens once in a great moon. Everything runs smooth, all the time, though. I don't know where the sluggishness comes from on your part. Maybe it's that your computer runs on 512mb RAM? I'm running 1gb of memory, maybe you should try adding more RAM?

eh, it just sounds like youre bitching, honestly. it doesn't bug me. ive used it a few times, just for the absolute hell of it...and thats what many people do....youre right that some people do it just to, i dunno, look cool in some kind of weird way, but for the most part ive found out that its in a "just because" kind of way. oh, by the way, your little section on "its not really faster to type stuff that way" is completely void....take, for example,

[About the orb thing: It's a fad. A trend. They get replaced. I, for one, don't mind. Some of the works are good, and some are quite bland. But basically, they are quite popular overall, or else there wouldn't be many of them. And if they weren't popular, then somebody who produces such works would be

Ok, I've only submitted a few wallpapers here, and so far, none of them have gotten through. The one I submitted today, is an example. Here's the link for the image: [http://slackerserver.com/uploaded/wfuo2.jpg] Normally I wouldnt care, but I havent seen ANYTHING like it here...it makes me wonder....how many more of those damn wallpapers with the shiny, glossy orb-thingy in the middle will they let past moderation? C'mon, I know this is no helluva-job

you say that someone who doesnt know what theyre taking about thinks 10mb is a lot of memory.....no, 10 mb isnt a lot....but for something like a theme or tiny customization program, it IS a lot of memory.

I had problems with the alienguise garbage as well. I loaded it and then the right hand side of the start menu flashed black and other colors....tried unloading it, many other things happened. Luckily I created a restore point before I installed that crap

Hello....my last post got no love, so I'm posting another one....hopefully it will get a little attention....they say they only take the "best of the best" in wall submissions so they aren't too overwhelmed with pictures....mine are good I think....good enough to AT LEAST be put on here....also, they say they don't accept wallpapers submitted that there are currently a plethora of....in that case, I couldn't find any Itunes wallpapers on this site, so

Hello, I've been here a while, but this is my first post! I remember when I first started using windowblinds, everything (pretty much) was skinned. Even when I right clicked on the desktop, that menu was skinned. I dont know how long its been, but for quite a while, the right click and drop down menus (you know-file, edit, etc) haven't been skinned. Why is this? I specifically remember a theme called "Marmo" that I was using....the drop down and right

Sorry to hear that you wont be using OD again, but yeah I guess your article was pretty useless. I will never leave the PC. I might get a Mac because they run so efficiently and just look so smooth and whatnot, but the PC is so much more flexible and I like to change themes at my will and etc.

Yeah, I have SP2 and have had no problems. I've heard many people saying "It's so horrible" and "It ruined my computer". The majority of those claims came from people who didn't know what they were doing, and they didn't have the nececarry security updates for SP1 in the first place. But, yeah, I'm sure SP2 has some security issues, as will any OS that is so widely distributed.
