Has anyone had problems with the ATI drivers? I have a DELL Inspiron 6400 laptop with the ATI Radion Mobile X1400 chip set. No matter what I do or which XP Pro download I pick from the ATI site, it tells me that these drivers are not for my system. If I look at the information on the ATI site for the mobile link, it explicitly states it is for the X1400 chip set! Anyone else have this problem?

Hello. I am pretty impressed with DeskScapes for WinXP although it does seem to chew up an awful lot of CPU for what it is doing (I understand that has more to do with my graphics card / drivers). Anyways... I use ObjectDock Plus and have completely replaced the Windows TaskBar. It is located at the bottom of the screen and is hidden by ObjectDock Plus through the preferences. It doesn't seem to matter what Dream I set for my background, there is a bar of about 5 to 10 pixels across the

I am running Dreams on a WinXP Pro machine 1.6 Ghz Core Duo laptop with ATI mobile X1400 graphics and 2 Gb RAM. MOST dreams play "ok" but the CPU goes to 50% at all times while the machine stays relatively performant. That said, there are some dreams such as the default earth view one that bring my system to a crawl. I use ObjectDock Plus extensively and have hidden the Windows Taskbar. At the bottom of the screen where the task bar is hidden, the is a 5 to 10 pixel horizontal bar of pix

This morning I installed DeskScapes for XP (2.50.067). It seems that the control interface is another tab in the desktop properties window. After applying a theme, one core goes to 100% (50% CPU overall on a Core Duo). The theme just crawls and my machine becomes very slow. I am running WinXP Pro on a laptop with a Core Duo 1.6 Ghz CPU and an ATI Mobile Radeon X1400 GPU. I downloaded and installed the Microsoft codec checker as per the FAQ on the Stardock site and it shows the following codec

Yep. I tried switching servers (clicking on the blue Stardock icon on the top left), then I tried to "check for updates" and I have restarted Impulse about 3 times now throughout the day. Still no luck. I checked my registrations and it shows Object Desktop Ultimate (along with all my other purchased Stardock software) and the expiry date is Dec 19, 2008. Guess I'm going to have to renew soon but it should still be working at the moment.

Good morning. I have noticed over the past two days that the weather docklet stopped working. A friend of mine who is also running ObjectDock... it isn't working for him either. The message shown is "Feed not available... try again later". It was working on Tuesday then stopped working sometime Tuesday afternoon. I can go to the AccuWeather web site and look up my location just fine. I've tried changing to other cities but still get the same result. Is anyone else experiencing this?</

Hey everyone. I'm using ObjectBar 2.0 and I love it. I am using the default Vista bar that comes with it. I make use of the CPU, MEM, BAT and Drive meters. I downloaded and added the WiFi DesktopX Widget and added as well but it doesn't quite fit in. It would be nice to have another meter here for WiFi. Does anyone know how I can make this? I found the config files for the other 4 meters with the filenames SDSysMeter .ini and the only difference between the 4 files (one for e

I downloaded and tried this out. Very cool. I create quite a few tech docs and this would help to spice the screen shots up a bit. The two things I would like to see are: 1) The ability to change the size of the screen capture (size of the frame) 2) An area on this site for custom themes! Thanks!

First off let me say that this is a legitimate copy of Window Blinds... a purchased copy. I run Window Blinds and ObjectDocPlus on my laptop and I love it... but I have a problem that I was hoping someone could help me with. While working on the laptop, I will have 10 or more apps open regularly. For example... Opera, Windows Explorer, WinAmp, Outlook Express, Skype, MSN, Word, PSPad, TOAD, Visio, PhotoShop. After a few hours I st
