Mike, Instead of googling enhdlg.dll try IE 7 Pro. Even though IE 7 Pro is a Microsoft Program it is extremely buggy and full of security leaks. Dump it quick. I tried it and the patch that came out in the beginning. Caused numerous problems. I seriously dought it has anything to do with Object Desktop as I used it at work without any skinning programs other tha Cursor XP. Peter

I seldom leave my dialup connected to the Internet overnight, but I did Thursday night I think as I was tired and had a ton of emails to download. Wehn I tried to close it the next morning it said something about Impulse Refresh needed to finish so i left it a little longer. Then I tried closing Internet again and it said Impulse needs to reboot and when I did it said Impulse Dock could not load. In the first place i am not happy that programs "Refresh" themselves without
Bichur; Thanks, I'll give it a try tonight. The files needed are only in d:\Program files\Stardock\Sdcentral\data\public\sks\production. So I am assuming those are the ones currently in use. Not sure why the aren't in Installed. Peter Tuesday update Bichur, I had no success finding "refreshing XML" or "settings changing servers", probably looking in the wrong place. I didn't read the part (Uncheck auto archive) until just now so The Right cli
My C: drive used to be a 36GB SCSI so I had always installed programs to my D: drive where there was more room. Using StarDock Central and Auto Archiving I am now having a problemUpdating IconPackager 4 ans SkinStudio 6 Professional. It says: Load: d:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\installed\ip4.xml 0 (file not found) Result: Auto Archive Failed (13) Would you like to continue with the installation of IconPackager 4? Yes or No an
You probably have the latest Winzip version 10 and it will expire if you don't purchase. If you can find Version 9 or older, it doesn't quit working after the trial. Latest and greatest is not always best. Peter
Final update Thursday 5-8-08. Even though WB 6.10.79 was working fine I tried Impulse again last night. It said updates were available for Icon Packager and Window Blinds 6 (Version 6.10.81) so I said update. When I rebooted I got the error again as above. So I went into SDC and tried to restore archive 6.10.79 three times and it failed each time. It installed that version (6.10.79) but not correctly. So I opened Object Desktop in SDC and tried the update to 6.10.81 and that wor
Bichur, I rplied Friday night late, apparently it was lost in the Forum crash this weekend. In SDC the newset WD I had archived was 6.02.5. When I click on Verify Applicaton in Impulse (v 1.01.155) it says: WindowBlinds 6 is not installed correctly. Please look for an application update. There aren't any. Today I updated SDC to 2.54.522 and it showed WB 6.10.079 so I am trying that. That version installed and works fine. I wonder why I couldn't get it with Impulse?
I decided to tackle Impulse with trepidation after reading all the horror stories. I downloaded the latest version from a link in the Impulse forum. As soo as Impulse loaded it asked to update itself, so i did. After I restarted Impulse I updated everything successfully except Skin Studio which said it was missing a password and did not complete so I restarted it and it updated successfully. After I rebooted WB did not start so I trie
