The Devs have said before they cannot do this because some PCs do not handle the LAA flag well. Putting LAA on would be highly frustrating to those users. Most mod players are quite aware of it now though, so I don't think its much trouble to make it a requirement for your mod Tobi.
But, doesn't Steam provide options on what runs? It wouldn't be a matter of replacing the .exe, just adding anoth

You be the judge whether the level of monetary contribution should change the rules of a MP game. I know it's commonly done with SP these days; the uber-powered startup weapons that DoW2:Retribution came with for the pay-more-upfront editions were already a MOBAization of SP.
As someone who has always enjoyed Sins either single player or in a local (LAN) multiplayer environment, I do not care. That said, people have been mentioning how small Sins multiplayer community was for as long it's been out, doesn't sound like a new development.

Enjoying it so far. Definitely liking the 'disturbing factor' of the transformation process. In vanilla EU, the game repeatedly spouts its nonsense dialog about corruption and whatnot, whining about the 'dark paths' our studies into alien tech may take us down. By and large, this was baseless nonsense and annoyed me. We were gaining tech, big deal. Now though, there's a practical example for that dialog. First, we have

I wasn't arguing the appeal of the genre, no objections there. The type of game is great and developing such a product certainly appeals to me. My point was merely directed towards questioning the actual value/need of slapping the 'Star Control' label on the game instead of Stardock simply making a game in the same vein under a new title. It certainly doesn't hurt, and will appease those looking for a Star Control reboot. Having the name is good, and what brand

While I look forward to the game, I mostly hope that you guys got a good deal. I have my doubts as to whether the IP still carries enough brand recognition value to be worthwhile as opposed to what a new IP from Stardock in the style would merit anyways. Still, always nice to have someone keeping a beloved brand from dying off.

I was under the impression this was a common practice, I recall reading more or less the same thing during a past E3. Also seems like a bit of a logic fallacy to act like it`s a bad thing. The only thing that demonstrations using a Windows machine implies is that a high end computer is better than a $500 console. What a surprise. What this does not imply is that the consoles are not up to the task of playing the games. When you`re dealing with non-p

Combine that with the fact that the game was
