A printing error indeed. That works out to $54.3 trillion dollars (U.S.). I wonder what her husband said…
You misread some of that, the 54 trillion was mentioned as a reference to the total GDP of the world, the amount owed worked out to much, much more than that.

Isn't it already research lab dependent? Main factor there is that Vasari caps can count as labs as well. Being a researched tech, I'd assumed it would stop working if you lost the labs, or does that not happen?
And something else, possibly the one thing I always hated about X-Com that apparently they're keeping it the ability to lose the game through nations deciding not to fund you. In the new game, it seems that lose the funding of 8 nations, lose the game? Why? I get losing the game if you don't have any money, or maybe if absolutely every nation abandoned you if anything, but it was always possible to become self-funded, If I was still well armed and not everybody else in

Only 15 minutes in, looking good so far, although I have to say I think the suppression fire looks really annoying, not as a gameplay feature, but simply due to the fact that it's "realistic" in the sense that the animation loops to show continuous fire to keep the target suppressed. Seems distracting and annoying...

While I generally agree that the new content in Rebellion isn't really worth the price tag, it's not like they lied about what was included. Looking now at the Impulse and Steam purchase pages, it lists pretty specifically what is new with Rebellion, and reading reviews, watching videos, or even just glancing at screenshots should have told you that for the most part the game is as it was before. Not really anyone else's fault you chose to base your expectations on the pri

We finally have computers and engines / internet connections that can handle live action strategy games and you want to go back to turn based strategy??? I hope your trolling. It's a different style of game that appeals to a different style of play.

I'd definitely agree that for those who already own Trinity, it's pretty poor value content wise. That's not to say it's bad, just that the extent of the additions feels comparable to a not so significant mod, barely more notable than the 'micro-expansions" that came before. Personally, I don't really care, new stuff is new stuff and since Sins is probably the only game that has stayed consistently in my rotation for 4 years, I'm happy with anything being u
Rebellion, it includes everything Trinity had in addition to the new Rebellion content. The only reason to buy Trinity now is if it's much cheaper and you're willing to skip the new stuff to save a few $$, or if you simply don't like the new Rebellion content and would rather have the game without.

One thing I was wondering regarding balance and Stripped to the Core, does it change with game settings? Specifically, if the game is set to "Slow Income" or "Very Fast Income", does the resource return change? As far as I've noticed, it does not, should it? How quick 'normal' income is going has a fairly significant impact on how useful any set amount of resources would be...

Why are you defending against a minority? As the quote pointed out, only a very small fraction of Sins players play multiplayer, thus that same small fraction (smaller, once you exclude the multiplayer players that like comp stomps and/or aren't dicks) are the only ones mocking comp stomps. There's little need to be defensive about your interests when the numbers are already there to support you.
Does the black market even work in a way where trading can ever be profitable? Obviously it fluctuates and some times are better to buy a given resource than others, and the same is true for selling, but I was under the impression that the values are still more or less locked within certain ranges, with the highest sale values always much lower than the lowest buy values. For this to work, you'd need a free market with a finite amount of resources available, which I didn
