Do we know any criteria that will cause an achievement to not trigger? I read some factions don't work for the diversity and I'm wondering what else might be a vain goal to work towards.
NovaStalker
It's definitely a bug to have clones getting reanimated permanently.
oh, so there's no damage buff now? what about all that mumbo jumbo about "if you have this, that happens. But if you have that, this happens"?
Show me any tooltip in the entire game that fucking includes every slight nuance to the mechanics going on in the background? FFS give me a break. I'm explaining all the stuff that is going on and how it balances and you want me to fit it an essay into a to

"On impact 75% of culture producing structures (excluding starbases) in the target gravity well are flipped to producing Advent player's culture." Happy now?
Vasari is definitely the best. It loses you planets with every round that's fired at you. Novalith is a pain but hardly the end of the world. If someone has invested that heavily in them then they have a weak fleet. Deliverance Engine is just a joke so let's not even mention it.
Perhaps just draining AM when it successfully captures a ship?
Starbase with culture upgrades keeps it's culture which acts against the culture being produced from the broadcast centres since starbases are the counter for losing planets to Novalith strikes as well. I don't know about how the numbers would stack up but the starbase culture could potentially get bonus effectiveness against the Deliverance signal to slow it down enough that it falls in line with my suggested timeline. The whole idea is that the Deliverance Eng
Ok given Advent are meant to be about culture and flipping planets how does this sound, On impact by 1 deliverance signal 60-75% of culture producing structures (excluding starbases) are flipped to producing Advent player's culture. This culture is 75% resistant to culture spread from neighbouring worlds but can never expand the culture into a neighbouring gravity-well. If a planet is flipped this way local static defences will also change allegiance&
well, back in the day, if I used Animosity on your ships, it would change your target, but then you could just retarget whatever you wanted to. Basically it only did what it was supposed to do on the AI. Against actual human beings it was useless.
If they fixed that then ignore me. I haven't actually used a Radiance as a tank in forever because I never heard about that being fixed and quite frankly there are better early game
The phrase you're looking for is rebalancing.
You can not defend the Titan being the bottom four levels of Military tech. You're essentially trying to argue that a cruiser is more advanced than the final supership to end galactic stalemates.
I think push makes sense for the Halcyon since it's meant to be all about strikecraft. I am in favour of any Advent buffs though. I've never understood why the Radiance has such weak synergy with rest of the Advent fleet. Animosity would be fantastic if it wasn't completely broken. Having a properly tanky ship with Progenitor shield restore or Rapture's Vengeance would make a lot of sense for the fleet composition. However Animosity not actually working
I'm almost certain Titans will end up being spread across the final 4 levels of Military tech come release. Not sure where you'd put corvettes though. What's a comparable level of ship?
They don't stack. The biggest benefit is from being able to ally from a race other than your own.
Presumably because it's easier to get your relationship up high enough. Might it be worth giving the loyalist/rebel factions different pacts as well so it's really advantageous to manage to get your opposite in another race as an ally which has lots of modifiers against you? [quote who="spacepilot" reply
with what I've seen the pacts don't stack...i don't get your final question "different identical"???
Two Advent or two TEC have the same pacts. So do they get doubled effects or are they being screwed over by being the same race is what he is asking.
lagging forum, double posting and no delete function for great justice!
Or the ability to hotkey specific views centred on a certain planet with a specific camera orientation which would also help moving between separate stars.
It certainly couldn't hurt to add it. Civ games have it and they're comparable timesinks.
I'm being perfectly civil and you start calling me names. This is why the devs have no reason to listen to you. If you can't make a case for something without insulting anyone who questions it then you clearly have nothing worth listening to.
what the crap is this 3 week thing you are talking about?
Clearly I'm exaggerating. I thought that was fairly obvious. And you didn't actually give any example of a 4x game that's worth a damn for casting. They're just too slow. All the micro you suggest is mid-game at the earliest so any caster would spend 5-10 minutes talking about how one guy just built an extractor and oh
me gusta edit: Actually, not so much because this also broke save games and I'd just started a massive game because I thought I had a week to play in. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF edit again: This seems to be a screw up of some sort because ICO is refusing to let me on so I don't think this patch was meant to go live yet.
Limiting super weapons to 2 or 4 basically means TEC loyalist gets massive nerf. Tec loyalist are turtle race with titan that is incapable to do even minor damage to defended position even with support fleet. That means Loyalists have to have something that gives them offensive edge. As far as I see it novaliths are their only attack option. With limiting them here they need boost somewhere else. <br /
Sorry for derailing the thread but... Pbhead, what on earth makes you think anyone should cast Sins games or consider it a legitimate e-sport? Has anyone ever cast a 4x game? If we're talking 1v1 then the map would have to be huge or it would be over in 5 minutes. If it's a 5v5 then the game will go on for 3 weeks. Alternatively people will just win with novalith spam. There aren't even sufficient micro opportunities in the game. I'm taking SC2 as the ba
Why doesn't anyone update it then?
