IMHO go for Logitech G500/G9x gaming mouse, that's where you certainly won t lose. Oh and anyways: great job with choosing the components, as it's not an overkill with the CPU being not THAT expensive, but you won't notice it being any slower; maybe you should cut the cost w/ a 1000W PSU... but well, the more the merrier :D

Well as for my 75 Hz 1600x1200 res 20" monitor I don't mind at all if game's stuck at 75 FPS, so I prefer v-syncing all my games. It gets less annoying this way. Also, with less FPS drop (even if it's a drop from 120 to 75 FPS, it still matters) it's much more fluent for me to play at ~75 FPS all the time.

Hey thought we agreed not to make this a "how many FPS you can see" topic. So anyways, nice card, I guess I'll stick to my HD 4870 X2 + HD 4870 trifire for a while longer, still 5xxx rocks nowadays, and will do so more when DX 11 will finally start kicking in more games. Not to mention, i had to do some serious DIY jobs w/ my computer case to let my HD 4870 X2 consume all the space it wants :D BTW, a ThermalTake Armor case is still not enough if you don t wanna dispose of HDD case.

My top 3(a real headache to get it all lined up...) 1st: Infinity Ultimate - it somehow makes every wallpaper seem the right choice, and it's really elegant imho. 2nd: Naked / Naked Noire - a real killer when it comes to simplicity, and really a good eye-candy if you want to see your wallpaper most of the times :D 3rd would be VOX, which when I use I somehow get myself looking at my desktop more than it would be neccessary; that skin has a certain pleasant feel to it, similar to that of Aze

I have tried looking through the post, but didn't exactly found anything that helps... I have WindowBlinds 6.4 on my Vista comp, and all in all, it works well USUALLY, but sometimes, it forgets to skin a window or two (and it skins it with classic win98 shell...); and rarely when my comp starts, i have to re-apply the windowblind, because it just doesn't work. I don't really have a screenshot, because the problem is quite simple, but does anyone know why it is? (Oh, and on another not

i have nvidia 9800 GTX and am experiencing the same phenomenon. it IS strange, because it happened on 7800 GT but it did NOT occur on my 8800 GTS, though i had completely different versions of drivers, and even Vista (Home on both of my weaker cards and Ultimate on 9800 GTX)... i really can't figure out why. but as a matter of fact, my XP also seems to be unable to resize images set as wallpapers correctly, and i don't know why. at first, it did its job as it should, but after a while it got

hmm the same happened to me before with Vista Home /trial version/. i resolved to buying Ultimate and it helped. anyways this much space can be lost only because of 1.) some trojan or other virus-like things 2.) oversecurity - it may even hide your files, especially if you're using vista take a good look into all the unnecessary things 3.) HDD problems. at least these are the only things i can think of. not even restore points OR temp files can use up this much space imho.

i really don't have anything against Vista. it seems fast enough (oh, well, i have a string machine overall, but still, it loads and does everything in a fast pace). i guess with all the updates Vista is going to be a great, reliable OS. only "problem" that has ever occured to me was that i had to reinstall warcraft III twice and even clean the registry for it in order to avoid some "game.dll" error after installing the latest patch; still i feel that this problem alone is not something whic

is it just me, or has AVMAN's LEXAN skin (my fave this month) really been removed? if so, then i hope it was removed only because of some skin-related problems and fixes, and will soon be up again. btw, i was having a problem with some highlighted toolbars and buttons, i hope these minor problems will be fixed by time i see this skin here again. but anyways, this month is what i've been looking for all summer; the community really made some top-notch skins this month! THANK YOU
