well in the spirit of the topic in hand, i don't play advent that often, but i do like their ship styles :P, they seem to look alot more "alieny" than even the vasaris, at least in my oppinion, so when i do ever choose them i guess that's probably the reason :)

entrenchment is worth it just for the fact that lots more options are available to modders, which means people like danman and his team can do even more in 7ds than they ever could in vanilla sins, that fact alone should make it worth it :P, if you still want to play 7ds while waiting for it to be converted to entrenchment, you can simply copy your entire sins directory to another locations, then upgrade to 1.16 and entrenchment 1.02, and you will still have a 1.05 version that should work wi

just go where you install the mod and delete the "galaxy" folder from the mods directory and you will get the games default maps back to play the mod on, not having played the mod though, i cannot help with the crashes
i think the crash is to do with wraith mines when i was playtesting the wraith the moment i clicked on their mines BAM minidump soit could be the ai is clicking the mines aswell causing a crash but after reloading it changes its mind for a short while perhaps?
i been around awhile on these forums but havent really posted much so nobody will probably know me lol but hear me out :) i was up last night till about 5 am thinking of ways to maybe improve the game in a later patch or maybe a sequal (if there is one) :) i tried to come up with ideas that hopefully wouldn't be stupid, and would have practicability and usefullness aswell as hopefully not requiring too much of a overhual of
