@GoaFan77 My problem is that the NPC had the clear advantage. I had to leave after loosing 2 capital ships and most others were heavily damaged to the point were they were going to be dead in a few moments. I had to rebuild then attack when they were now weakened. Then I came back and defeated them. With a little trouble but they had not been able to rebuild even though they had the ability to do so. More importantly this fleet did not engage me other then when I originally to

And another one. Again on my second playthrough with capital ships only on a huge 5 star system map. Moved my fleet, (one titan, 3 kol, 3 dreadnaughts, 2 duncov, 1 corsev, 1 akkon) into a new system. It was a moon system once I destroyed everything and was ready to move out I noticed 2 of my ships. ( a Kol and Dreadnaught) had disappeared. They still listed as active and their fighter craft still existed. But the ships themselves had just left. I moved my main fleet to the ne
Alright I have one more bug to add. Its very similar to the one posted above. I set the game winning conditions to destroying the flag ship and only that. I destroyed the first 2 races in my star system (in a huge 5 star system random with full npc's) When I get to the last one he by this time has lost the game, it was just supposed to be a mop up but he still has his Flagship. Again the NPC decided that he has lost long before he had actually lost. I was wondering why I was not g
I was recently playing my first game in the beta. I played on a large map, 3 star systems, against 7 npc. 3 medium 4 hard.I played as TEC rebel faction. The game victory condition had been set to win only by destroying the capital city. The only problem is that the computer would loose the game before any damage was done to their homeworld. I had on 3 separate occasions attacked either a planet before their homeworld or a system which contained a majority of their force. And the mome
Now looking at this after I finished its a long read but probably useful [e digicons][/e] , hopefully it doesn't get to boring. (and if Ironclad uses this I expect some credit, haha) Well I'm going to add my two cents into this battle royal. Remember that I have not yet played the new micro-expansion, but I will get it once it is out. Personally I see the starbases as something that should be able to stop a enemy fleet from jumping to the
I am through steam, I assume that is the problem. give me a sec and I'll try the normal way. Edit Problem solved, thanks, Any idea y it does that.
ok so I have updated to service pack 3, along with reinstalling sins with the newest update. Still the same problem. I have no Idea what else to do. PS when I changed the settings to have the highest resolution, for a split second the words were visible after the change took hold. So I know they are there but for some reason they are under the background. Here is a pick
So after formatting my computer I reinstalled all the drivers and updated everything I could. After the game loads, and the main menu is up, there are no words. The symbols are there but not the words, if i click on one of the menu option, the next screen has no options as well. There are highlighted areas, and i can click around but i have no idea what i'm choosing. I haven't started a game so I don't know what is affected in game. Either way. I'm going to update to service pack 3, and reinstal
Here is another art update, this time its the Xin Scout model, mark II. This will replace the earlier concept shown in this thread. As with all Xin frigates, this one is also a blend of organic and mechanic. The goal was to create something which looks sleek and fast compared to other frigates, but not fragile, as all Xin ships are supposed to be tougher (and more expensive) than their counterparts from other races. So without further ado, here are the screens! Hope you like it![/quot
The only thing I would like is more realistic "death models". When fighting I have noticed that basically when you destroy a ship, its gone vaporised. But in reality I would really doubt that would happen. I would love to see more along the lines a destroyed ship having (if majority of attack hit its back) having its engine blown and the ship just floating around in space. Completely dead. Along with that, having smaller ships having windows or chunks missing where they were hit. And depending o
Can i have one too? I have an online savegame of a match that's been going on for about 9 hours now, and it wont let me log in ICO without updating
Yea and I have one for about 20 hours. Single player so I'll save that till I reinstall it. Which will be a long time. Since I like the updates
