Happens to me as well, Entrenchment running on a forge created map.
if they are developing a new engine for sins 2, it should be alot better then this hunk of junk engine. too many issues and problems. However I would also like to say ADVERTISE YOUR GAME TO PEOPLE! you could have sold a lot more if you advertise like other games. The only reason I got sins was becuase of blind luck really, One day scooping through the internet for new RTS space games, t
My buddies and I do comp stomps all the time, it's not too bad once you get the hang of it (so long as someone doesn't mess up to bad). Here's a couple tips for comp stomping: 1) You're humans, and you're a team, so communicate! Coordinate your attacks and defenses. 2) Try to establish just a couple choke points where at least two of you have built a starbase. That way if something gets messed up and you get pushed back you have
If that's the case then I'll keep doing what I've been doing, or at least keep enough military bases around to keep starbase production flowing (I prefer to play TEC and have gotten good at having very compact but insanely productive economies thanks to starbases with trade bays combined with trade ports).
Most of my games are comp stomping endevors with some friends of mine, and we often end up turtling for the first little bit while we build up. As a result, real estate becomes quite the premium comodity. My question deals with scrapping research stations. If I were to build a bunch of military bases, do some military research, then scrap the bases to make room for civillian ones, do I still get to keep using the research (and any ship designs unlocked) even
Question (I've only done comp stomping on ICO, not PVP, so I"m a bit behind ont he terms): What is a "smurf"?
Space ponies.
I would love to see a faithful movie version of [link="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Moon_Is_Down"]The Moon is Down[/link], by John Steinbeck (one of my favorites of his). It is an excellent book, and the message is just as relevant today as it was back then. I was going to say The Road, but there already is one being made so we'll see how it turns out.
You are going to find a lot of GalCiv players on this forum. Yes, it is a great game; it is easily one of the best games I have ever played, and would be well worth your time and money to pick up. It embodies the spirit of "one more turn", leaving you with many hours of lost sleep. The Game of the Year Edition is only $20, and is a bundle of the original game and the second expansion. If you are in Europe, check out the Expanding Universe bundle. There is a demo available fo
they are having an other sequel. It was discussed in Wiredd Mag. I think it has to do with Two Face vallian.
!!Spoiler!! Given the ending of Dark Knight, I'm not sure how that's possible.
Starship Troopers Humans Bugs Skinnies Starcraft Humans Zerg Protoss Sorry, but it seems that Blizzard already "borrowed" from an idea created forty years prior. Personally, I chalk it up to imitation being the sincerest form of flattery.
What game are you talking about? You posted this in the general forum, so we have no idea if you're talking about GalCiv, GalCiv2, Sins, Pac-Man, Peek-A-Boo, or Barbie Horse Adventures.
While it may not be as important as a Terran planet, it can still be heavily fortified. The enemy is thus given the option of getting bogged down by stopping to clear it out, thus allowing your more important worlds more time to prepare and your fleets to get in place; or they can bypass it in hopes of finding something better, but that opens up their forces to being cut off and wiped out.
If anyone disagrees then please post a realistic storyline.
I say it's Superman, is mine really any less realistic than yours? ;)
Or, if you don't have internet connection on your gaming machine (such as myself): [link="https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/update"]Manual Update[/link]
don't tell me you don't want to know whats pursuing the vasarri.
Actually, I don't. I think that way too many good story points get ruined by people feeling the need to explain every detail, answer every question, and tie up every lose end. Personally, I think it would be much better if they never actually explained it. The imagination that mystery invokes is a fertile field, and the ultimate in user created content and involvment.
Thanks kryo!
I'm fairly new to the game, so please bear with me on what may be a rather silly question. I noticed last night that, having been able to plcae structures where ever I pleased for most of the game, I suddenly no longer had the option to do so. Instead, left clicking would auto place the structure, often in a location I didn't want. While I was trying to figure out what changed, it occured to me that this might be a feature that comes into effect your empire has grown to a cert

Yes, it is somewhat odd for them to not give the option for a desktop shortcut (especially since the game doesn't require a disk), but I think that you let yourself get carried away in the excitement of the matter. There is/was no reason to reinstall, as was mentioned above you could have run it from the start menu (you did check that, right?), or you could have created a shortcut from either the start menu link or directly from the exe.
