Only the overall recent posts list is limited to the past 72 hours. In the individual forums themselves, you can page all the way back to 2006 when this board was opened.
DOH! I see, I had to click "View all recent posts" and then I get the page numbers. Thanks!

Please tell me if I'm missing something here, but from what I can tell navigating these forums in either IE7 or Firefox, you can't browse back in the forums beyond the subjects that show up on the first page? I know older posts exist because they show up in searches, but you can't browse to them? Is this correct? Thanks!
Again, if you want something more in depth just let me know and I'll PM you my little treatise on capital ship tactics.
I found your post very interesting and I too would love to hear your capital ship tactics. So please consider posting it here, or PM me as well, thanks!
I have to agree that it should be called out in the patch notes. There is no reason not to. I lost a huge game I had in progress too, and if I had seen that in the patch notes I would have held off a few days. Because in my experience companies do mention whether or not a patch invalidates saved games, so I just went ahead and patched.
Sins, because they haven't made us buy an expansion pack for almost the cost of the original game to fix their bugs and horrible balance (*cough* forged alliance *cough*). I am very happy with Sins right out of the box. I couldn't even get SupCom to play for a month or so after it came out. When I did I had to get a mod AI (all hail Sorian) to get a challenge out of playing it.
