Ooh but i did play it, just didnt remember it until i played the mod abit. And you didn't know about the mouse function, and on top of that, you actually try to play with the mouse ?

Hey multi, my guess is that you never played the original Freespace 2 before right?
Hmm I say around 11am... EST What! I expect my code to be delivered at exactly 0:00 Stardock time, not a single minute later
Download + CD.... You get access to Beta2 (June 21st) ,Beta3 (end of Summer) , Beta4 (when they feel like it). You get to download the FULL game when it is out in February 2008. AND they send you a Retail Copy of the Game in February. (Boxed Copy , like you normally get in the Store. Its a Win - Win - Win ! <img onload="setImageSize_onLoad(650,this);" src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Congrats.gif"
to make life easier you can use VLC to watch the file, it plays just about any format out there without the need of addition codec. Oh, and it's free.
It feels kind weird now that this mod exist since honestly its image for some reasons it has been matching Sins since the day I'm interest in the game. Some of you may remember a few things I mentioned in the past month, like about a heavy PDS system since it's a heavy part of the Sekai universe. Also I once asked about the possibility of Phase Space combat when I heard the existence of the phase lane. And yeah, you can make an easy guest, it was the battle of the Aptic gate t
nice, I'll definitely try it out once I get the game. I'm a big fan of the anime and the novel. Curious though, to how much extend the mod capture the space-opera battle atmosphere of the Sekai universe? Since most battles begin or end with a heavy mine attack and assault ship to assault ship duels. The mine attack especially can hardly work very well without an intensive intercept system. So how much adaption you had managed to incoorporate. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/g
Just asking. When I choose to receive the hard copy, what I should expect this time. For Dread Lord I received a full retail box which made me a happy monkey, but for Dread Lord all I received through the mail was a CD in a plastic bag, which made me an unhappy ape. So what form will Sins be delivered, if it's a plastic bag I don't feel the need to order a hard disk (from a collector point of view).
I played both the Demos..... and they sucked..... Were the full games better? I too did not find CL or TNY worthy after being spoiled on SC for over a decade. Understandable, because both
Well, I think it will be just another game that got overhauled in order to "appeal to more players". In most of the cases it's translated into a "casual friendly" game. From the sound of it if anyone had played City Life, Tycoon New York, combine those '2 games together I think we'll get a good idea how this new Sim City will be shaped, at least to me they're sound so damn familiar. I'll save my judgement on whether the game is good or bad until it's release since it'
I just picked thise game up for 30 bucks brand new. Currently Installing. Tell us how it goes after you play it for a while. I have also been interested in this game for a while and was counting down its release. I almost ordered it from Gamestop but a barrage of negative review is p
While the system requirements are not yet set in stone, though I think they're pretty close to the mark; we will not be artificially inflating them. Despite what some may think the vast, vast, vast majority of PCs are not state-of-the-art, they are at least 3-4 years old (believe it or not, Schem is right on this point <img onload="setImageSize_onLoad(650,this);" src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/BigSmile.gif" align="abs
Phew, and a while back I thought I'm the only one that like Multicore - Supported.
let me guess, something like the Hyberspace in Homeworld but you actually see the ship going through?
@Earth - I am strongly against any combat in phased space as it will muddle up the game mechanics as well as look pretty horrid in the current system. Moreover the AI will likely be unable to cope effectively with it. If it is allowed then you would in effect have full free space tactics. It's a random idea that pop up in my head since I'm still not clear on how the system work. So in effect the Space Phase is like a tunnel connect o
Kinda, but once ships are on/in the Phase Lane, they can't be pulled out of it until they reach their destination gravity well. So, the massive voids between gravity wells don't really play a part in the game...but they are still there. Cool, eh? Oh, so by Phase Space interdiction you mean prevent a ship from entering Phase Space at all, rather then intercept it once it's already there? And what do you mea
The game only has 1 map. Players can focus on different parts of the map and zoom in and out. That means that there are no portals. So, Phase Lanes are kinda like Space Highways where ships travel to and from gravity wells that are connected. As it is, there is Phase Space Interdiction. Facilities can be built that stop enemy ships from leaving/escaping into these Phase Lanes. Hum, in a way t
Actually, I've heard several times that Homeworld was originally going to be a Battlestar Galactica game, but for some reason it didn't work out so they created their own storyline. seriously ? thats pretty cool if its true? Will you be surprise that Starcraft was originally planed as a Warhammer40000 game? Something didn't w
I have a question how the Phase Lane is used. Does it act like 2 portals, a ship enter from this side and after a while appears on the other side? Or it's actually a tunnel in which the ship travels through? Since it can be interesting if it's the latter and a phase space interception is possible.
7000/1500 infrastructure? I'm betting Ironclad will want to see that... Hey ... doesn't it sound a little similar to one of the old bug in Dread Lord? (After an invasion the population on a planet just suddenly sky rocket).
Perhaps there should be a way of manually setting priority like in Pacific Storm A little more sotisphicated then that though, the resource transport priority is rarely done right in PS. Iremember on Red Faction 2 the you could customize every bit of the bots to make them harder smarter ect ect the more often you fought against them. That kind of system would be great for this game.
PT boats are not ships. That's a refenrence to why you want to put PDS on a scout. and no, a light cruiser cannot outurn a torpedo. do you realize how long it takes those ships to turn? I'm not talking about battlecruiser or armored cruiser, the modern missile cruiser is faster then you think. no wait... apparently not. (sorry, had to do that part)<
how many of our naval craft are capable of doing that... none. None. So, a PT boat will not be able to outrun and outturn a torpedo? A destroyer or Frigate are acutally not able to out turn a torpedo? Eh ... Even a light cruiser should be able to out turn a torpedo. And then, they actually put a pair of MK17 Phalanx and a pai
So by purchasing with tokens I can still get into Beta 1 and start playing now? Correct. One beta tester coming right up And yeah .... (Y.E.S!)
also keep in mind that all of your flak frigs will have this, possibly another type of frigate, maybe even your scouts. I never said all frig should have this. In fact, I think it's repeated many times that a PDS on Large ships ... placing it on a fighter ... what's for? You're making it out of proportion. PDS is used to defense target that generally big and high priority, and relative poor manuever. Heh, I hope a scout can out run or out turn a tor
