hi, im playing the star trek mod, how do u jump between different star systems? i havent even played the normal game yet, so sorry if a very very stupid question. im in a war and i control my solar system butcant reach the adjacent sun.

having read the forums everywhere there would seem to be a overheating issue with the card, im looking into it....
its nota bad sector, the odd thing is that i applied a hotfix for my card last night and i got 30mins out of it b4 it crashed. Spore is also still the same, both have the same sympton. could it be a dud card? although all my other games and demos are fine. (WOW silent hunter 4, civ 4, colinsation,demo of c and c 3) How do i get sp2? my machien says it is using sp1 but i am on automatic updates from Microsoft and i do not have it

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE ON GC2 IT WORKED AND SEEMS STABLE. SPORE IS NOW GIVING ME SIMULAR AGRO TO SINS, SO I GUESS IT IS MY CARD. IM CHECKING ALL MY GAMES TO B SURE. DUMB QUESTION BUT WINDOWS SERVICE PACK 2, DOES IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
thanks for all the advise everyone. I have thrown in a new psu but no difference. I did as Webreg suggested and it still crashed but interesingly not as quick as usual ( i got a whole 3 minutes of play time and i have to say it looked glorious [e digicons]^_^[/e] having bunged it up to max on every setting known to man.) wow, civ 4, silent hunter 4 , spore. Is it a case of tnhem not having the same demand on the psu as sins? i have also tried putting all the setting to low to reduce demand on the card.
interesting theory but all my other games work, that havesimular demands on my rig. Im sure it is this game.
Please help, i am running it on Vista 32, with a radeon 4870 (PCI express) , and everytime without fail but normally within 4 mins of loading up there is wierd graphics corruption, causing the entire pc to freeze forcing me to shut it off.
