I came upon it while searching online for an update on two versions of the holy grail of computer games--real time 3D 4X space games--which two indie companies in Vancouver are working on. I was immediately intrigued, since GalCiv 2 seemed to focusing on this format. Well, it isn't one, but on its own terms its a great game and I hope it improves. I had it either full or off for the background music. I just turned it down to 40ish percent and I'm getting better results! It still craps out on the occasional reload, but is much better than before!
Hey there, great game! There are some minor gliches that others have already mentioned, but my main problem is the background track corrupting after 10-15 seconds. All other sounds-incidental, special effects and those associated with cut scene movies--are fine. The background track is great and its a shame my galaxy lacks it.
