Actually, It's not enough to copy the font into the font folder, you have to install it. Under the file menu there is an option "Install New Font" that will open a window with an old style directory tree. You can point that to the folder where the fonts are and it will install them.

To swap the buttons you'll have to change a settings file for the game. In XP it's C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting\uimappings.setting Some of those folders are hidden so you'll have to tell Windows to show them in Tools>Folder Options>View tab>Hidden Files and Folders. When you do get to the file find the section that reads CURSOR_BUTTON_0 NumMappings 1 Mapping Device "MOU
If you go to your uimappings file, C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting\uimappings.setting on XP, and find the section that reads CURSOR_BUTTON_0 NumMappings 1 Mapping Device "MOUSE_BUTTONS" DeviceInputID 0 isAltDown FALSE isCtrlDown FALSE isShiftDown FALSE CURSOR_BUTTON_1 NumMappings 1 Mapping Device "MOUSE_BUTTONS" DeviceInputID 1 isAltDown FALSE isCtr
The back and forward buttons are probably DeviceInputIDs 4 and 5. That will let them work like the scroll wheel when you click it like a button. However, scrolling is done differently and I don't think you can remap buttons to act like the scroll wheel but there are zoom in/out hot keys.
I just found this topic and there is a way to change the mouse buttons. In the file C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting\uimappings.setting is an area that looks like this: CURSOR_BUTTON_0 NumMappings 1 Mapping Device "MOUSE_BUTTONS" DeviceInputID 0 isAltDown FALSE isCtrlDown FALSE isShiftDown FALSE CURSOR_BUTTON_1 NumMappings 1 Mapping Device "MOUSE_BU
Regarding the hex color code, each pair of letters represents a color channel Red Green Blue and Alpha, alpha being transparency. The format is probably RGBA or ARGB but I don't know so you'll have to experiment to find out.
I figured how to swap the buttons in the game. Go to the file C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting\uimappings.setting and find the section that reads CURSOR_BUTTON_0 NumMappings 1 Mapping Device "MOUSE_BUTTONS" DeviceInputID 0 isAltDown FALSE isCtrlDown FALSE isShiftDown FALSE CURSOR_BUTTON_1 NumMappings 1 Mapping Device "MOUSE_BUTTONS" Device
It's a research topic called "Sabotage Reactor". The only ships that are upgradeable from it's control panel are the Capital Ships.
Do you have the buttons swapped in Windows? That should be all you need to do. Other than that I don't think there is an option in game to swap the buttons.
It's worth mentioning that connection speeds are listed in kilo- or mega- bits per second while the game size is in gigabytes. With the numbers I ran on 56k dial-up it will take about 51 hours, on a 1.5mbps connection, which is typical of DSL, it should be about 2 hours, and on an 8mbps connection like Uzii's it would only take about 20 minutes like he said.
A question for stardock. Since the game went gold why customers who preodred through Stardock central can't have the game yet ???? Why we need to wait till febuary 4th ???
It's because retailers don't like anyone getting the game before them so Stardock plays nice and doesn't release it for download before the release date.
