i think the really two other important reviewers that you guys should anticipate to see are gamespot and PC gamer. I think these 2 reviewers are going to give a very good positive review of this game.

I can't load the save game files, it tells me that my old saves are invalid saves. I just named my saves as "seth 1" and that is it. Also, after few minutes of starting up, all of a sudden, for no apparent reasons, my faction won the game without me even doing a thing. I did not even move my drones anywhere or started to build anything. When i tried going to the main menu, the game froze on me.

I don't believe this same topic has spilled into preview thread on the upcoming updates. In about a month or so, this game will be reviewed by the professionals such as pc gamer and gamespot, it will be interesting to see what these guys think of the issue about the siege frigates.

I have an idea...why don't the people who disagree played against the people who agreed on the issue that the siege frigate are overpowered. I mean one side team up against the other using the same AI tactic and see if the other side can counter. No AI players or anything, and this once and for all can settle the issue. Oh why you guys are at it, make sure to record the entire game play. I am sure actual tried and true playing beats see saw arguing back and forth against each other. :D

ProfCS101, may i make a suggestion, create the same situation to the AI and see how it respond. You can do it by making your own map with certain starting advantages to yourself and starting disadvantages to the AI, build the same exact number of seige frigates, etc and go attack the AI capital world, and see what it does. Make sure you raised the difficulties setting for the AI. After seeing the results, why don't you come back to the forums and post the result and see what the various member

Sorry i should be more clear. What i mean in my first post is that i don't have dedicated internet connection at home and i don't have a laptop myself. So i have no way to install my game on a portable computer and use outside internet connection. And i can't update the game via in-game at home either due to a lack of internet connection.

I purchased my game through my local eb games, and i have no dedicated internet connection at home, hence i don't have SDC installed on my computer. So is there any other ways i can get the various updates and patches. Thanks

No, i think they don't want a system overload from being overuse. After all, all of you guys are like a bunch of people needing to go to the bathroom and just can't wait, otherwise, you people will all pee your pants simultaneously. :D

I preorder the retail version at EB, if i want to order the digital content of the collector's edition, can i have it shipped to my place. Also, i don't have dedicated access to the internet, hence i can't get the patches/updates for either sins and Galciv 2. Is there any way i can get these updates and patches. Thanks.

I played Haegemonia for the first 2 missions, and it was hard to figured out what was going on in terms of the control. And the pace of the game felt it took forever, hence for those above reasons, i ended up giving up on the game. Homeworld 1 was much better, but i never liked the manual configuring of 3d ship movements, it gave me a physical headache just to look at that 3d shipping movement mapping screen.

I just want to ask the devs at both IronClad and Stardock, will there be any more future collaboration on any other gaming projects. Since the two companies fits so well like hand and glove. It would be awesome if you guys develop more games together. I don't know, maybe consider a business partnership.

I just want to ask, for the release version of the game, how big is the biggest maps that ships with the game, and can that be mod?? what i mean is, is there a limit to the number of star system per map and also number of planets per star system. I know that fleet cap can be modded but i am not sure about map sizes. Thanks

"Will there be any planetary invasions allowed for this game, and also...will there be ground combat allowed. Anyone know??" 'no there wont as the races in SINS are smart.. any resistance gets a big laser to its face from space!' Diggzz, I was asking about the possibility of ground combat with regards to Lost Empires, not about SINS.

The background to this game's story really sounds like a rip off of the Babylon 5 background stroy, and the feel of it has been done to death. For a game having 5,000 star system, i hope people's system can handle it. I remembered play swords of the stars and the game literally froze in between turns. To be honest, what is the difference between Lost Empires and Space Empires 5. It will be hard to beat Galciv 2. But then, given Paradox interactive has a history of making turn-based strate

Hi Everyone, I posted on the Bethesda Forums regarding Sins on their general forum at www.elderscrolls.com. If anyone is on that forum, please contribute by telling people what the game is like. Thanks

Reply to tracers! in Beta Feedback

I have a question, suppose i am playing my friend who has modded his ships with an increase volleys of firing, but if those extra shots are just for pretty graphics, and one of those missed shots just hitted one of my ships but does no damage, would it be pointless to increase the amount of firing in the first place.

I have a feelign that spore will be like an old game call Sim Earth. Instead of evolving a planet, you evolve celluar organisms, so it is like The Sims with Sims Earth combined, except it is with cells. oh you get to go to space.

I don't think this is feasible to have boarding as an option in either multiplayer or single player. I agree with Yarlen, that it is too much micromanagment. If i am playing a game with 50,000 units on each side, and there are like 500 capital ships minimal for each side, trying to capture the other sides portion of capital ships will be a nightmare to manage, unless the process can be automated, but then you still have to keep track of the success of each attempt. In multiplayer, this would

Okay, i have bought the game through preordering from EB games, so i have not played it. But from what I have read from the beta feedbacks, it confirms what many previews have said about Sins, that is it really have successfully put RT4x into a RTS mode of game play with unlimited number of units and arguably the same amount of depth as any RT4x. I know the devs made comparison between Galciv2 and Sins in terms of depth of gameplay, and have stated that it is not as in depth as Galciv2 in term
