Your team got a lot more grunt kills, indicating that they got priests/angels/catapults etc. much earlier. The Rook also appeared to be heavily focused on destroying your structures, permitting the creeps to attack either the citadel, your DGs or your creeps. I'm just speculating, but that's usually what happens when grunt kills so heavily emphasize one faction or the other.

Mines have a 1 second cast time. Oak and maybe Torchbearar can stop it if they have their attention on the regulus, UB and Sedna are fast enough but their range is significantly shorter than mines. Latency is also a problem. I've played games where I can't reliably cast interrupts before a Hammer Slam hits owing to latency, a 1 second cast time is effectively uninterruptible in those circumstances. It's 100% impossible for a Rook to dodge mines or interrupt Regu

I hadn't realized so many of the UB's buffs were percentage based. If they were changed to appropriate flat buffs like most other demigods have, I think that would make these abilities more useful early on and less blatantly superpowered at level 20.

Last Stand's probably too powerful period, but I don't see any sensical way to change where it wouldn't be awesome against fortresses.
Maybe if the structure armor/HP upgrades were worth anything I could use those?
You should be using those, _especially_ in fortress mode. You'll get a lot better bang for your buck than Universal Gadgets, that's for sure.

I use a very similar build for the first 10 levels (i prioritize bramble shield over shamblers), but then I aim at getting Goddess of Thorns by level 15 - that involves pumping Ground Spikes from levels 11-14. I think this timing works better, since by level 12-13 you can be in deep doodoo in terms of enemy grunt swarms and you really need that AOE attack to shut them down.
3.) QoT is really mana dependent so you can't spend as much on armor and hp gear.
The adv
Didn't know that, i thought the EVERYONE's ablities are considered as armour ignoring dmg (magic dmg). So Rook's towers do physical dmg. Any other demigods abilities that do physical dmg instead of magic dmg?
The ability is summoning the tower - the tower attacks themselves arn't abilities. They're just another form of minion.
Make sure you kill my army before you go after me, or there's no chance in hell you'll be able to survive long enough to actually kill me.
Well the thing here is that the fastest way for some demigods to kill minions is to kill the Demigod. I mean around level 10, you can amass like 8000 hp of minions without too much trouble. Unless you have heavy AOE its just easier to kill the DG.

Abilities is the key imo. Right now assassins have no incentive to defeat a generals army rather than just smashing the general. Even if the army stayed after death they are just cannon fodder at that point... I'd like to see things like: -nearby minions soaking damage directed at the general -synergistic effects from minions -minions that improve the creep -slows or other negative effects so assassins cant simply ignore the whole army</

there is no effective way of discriminating between rage quits and disconnects/crashes, because people can force disconnects/crashes anyway, i think there needs to be more base favor from just finishing a game sure its possible to get like 50-90 favor when losing.. IF you are the top player on the losing team... the other guys probably only get 10, or 25 at most. 10 is bupkis. meaningless. 50 for participant, 100 for winner, then awards favor

Any purely singleplayer game you could run on a large number of computers by using offline mode. However, this can get clumsy after a while. And eventually of course your son would want his own Steam account anyway (for Friends/Community even if he shares your taste in games), so buying 'his' games on your account is problematic in that respect.

Steam's customer support ranges from good to nonexistent, depending on the issue. They do not offer tech support for any games; you have to contact the original company. They - in theory - have a blanket no-returns policy, but people have received refunds on a case-by-case basis by contacting Steam support. Steam has an excellent friends/community system which is integrated inside many games offered on Steam. Most games also support the Steam overlay, which offers access to

Steam is very reliable. Direct2Drive used to be good, but then they moved to a weird system and I stopped buying from them. Recently I've heard they've gotten better, but eh. Once burnt, twice shy.

TheRezonator: Ships will waste very little damage on a ship about to destroyed. They are aggressive about this; it is possible (though rare) for ships to switch targets slightly too soon, leaving the old target with 5-10 HP.
