Thanks for taking the time out to answer my question. Good luck with the release! [e digicons]:D[/e] -HM
Hollow Man
Yes, I bought them all separately, as they were released. I didn't expect there would be a difference since your store page says if one buys Trinity, there will be separate/individual entries for all three games in Impulse. Just as long as there's no actual difference between them, and that multiplayer is compatible no matter how one bought them. -HM
Rather curious to know why Brad's main menu says "Trinity" while mine says "Diplomacy". -HM
Still waiting here too. Good grief there must be a lot of them. Edit: Whoops, just got the mail. Thanks Stardock! -HM
Ironclad plans to put a campaign in the expansion. -HM
A few of us have issues getting 1.04 saves to work. Probably not completely compatible. -HM
Above in my first sentence I meant to say "LAN play only". But Kryo beat me to the punch. Forums seem a bit slow to update today. -HM
The Multiplayer button in the game takes you to LAN play online. You need to click the Ironclad Online button, then create an acocunt for it, to play over the Internet. The CD Key it asks for will be the serial number that was sent to you via email when you ordered the game. If you do not have it, you can retrieve your serial number(s) [link="https://www.stardock.com/support/"]here[/link]. The serial number also gives you the ability to download the patches, which you will ne
Annatar, thank you for the back up. Viewpoint, I'm glad that your game now works. I'm sorry that you were annoyed and perhaps misinterpreted my intentions by what I said, but I believe Annatar summarized my feelings pretty well. Perhaps as time goes on, you're learn that it's not a sign of weakness to apologize when at fault. This was a case where this was not an Ironclad problem, yet, you mistakenly assumed it was their online system that was the issue (and bashed them 'round a bit
[quote]Nope not working with my 1.04 saved game (I guess quote words "should work" applies to me lol).[/quote] Same here; my 1.04 save won't work. Ah well. -HM

[quote]And kryo! [/quote] Ah, but he works for Stardock. It pays for him to be nice. :) -HM
I can understand if you're frustrated, and I am sorry about that. But if you would like help from others (remember, most people who post here are just game players like you, and not affiliated with Stardock or Ironclad), yelling about it won't help much. After all, I don't personally have much to lose if your game doesn't work, and I get more satisfaction from helping people that are even tempered. I have to help enough people daily at my office who aren't nice, but at least I'm getting paid
Did you update the game to 1.04? If you ask a bit nicer, and keep the hysterics to a minimum, chances are more people will be willing to help. -HM
Back as a kid in the 70s I played the old [link="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_(text_game)"]Star Trek text game[/link] on a [link="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teletype"]teletype[/link]. I got a PC in 1983 and played [link="http://www.mobygames.com/game/pc-booter/microsoft-decathlon/screenshots"]Microsoft Decathlon[/link]. But before that I played a ton of junk on my friend's TRS-80 Model 1. -HM
All you had to do was 1) not use an obviously inflammatory statement in your message title and 2) not be insulting in your text. The Sins community has plenty of nice people who enjoy helping people solve their problems with the game. But you chose to bring attention to your problem in a spiteful manner, which is why you got the book thrown at you. Next time you might want to think about your goal is, and then keep that in mind when trying to achieve it. This approach didn't work, so
Just go the above web page, log in with your account (if you haven't already), and then click the big red "download" button. -HM
You can also have your serial(s) emailed to you by filling in the form [link="https://www.stardock.com/support/"]here[/link]. -HM
They are cumulative. If you want to wait until Tuesday that'll work no mater what version you're currently at. -HM
There is an option to change this behavior. Go to Options, User Interface, and then check "Camera: Invert Horizontal Rotation". -HM
You need to update to the latest version of the game (1.04) via Stardock Central, Impulse, or from [link="https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/update.aspx"]this URL[/link]. -HM
You can get a handle on what I like by going to my site, [link="http://band-chat.blogspot.com"]Band Chat[/link]. It isn't updated as frequently as I'd like these days, but it has enough back content to keep you busy! -HM
Darn those new PCs and their Vista. :) -HM
I believe part of the problem is that when someone crashes in multiplayer due to the sync bug, it brings everyone down with them. So this makes it seem like the bug affects more people than it does. Although it could be fairly argued that the bug indirectly affecting people is just as bad as it directly affecting people. Thankfully I just play with the same group of three others all the time, and we have no problems. But I do understand the frustration some are having, so my suggesti
