Still a fantastic mod; any information on the dynamic movement update? Last I checked/played, it wasn't compatible with the newest release. If not, no biggie - doesn't hurt to ask.

I will be testing it in like 2 weekends time...I do got a life ( still in school )[/quote] *poke* Been two weekends...how ya doing? :) Kidding, keep up the great work everyone. Look forward to seeing what potential damage can be done when Rebellion is released.

In an attempt to make a very long, continuing story short, and manageable...I present the Battle for/of Charybdis. I say for/of because initially I launched an offensive to take the planet, a key point of space with four jump lanes converging. Controlling this planet, is controlling a large portion of the map. Now the battle has become a meatgrinder, eating ships, material, and people. After my successful offensive, I began the process of colonizing and establishing
This mod is fantastic, and as longtime forum lurker, but little poster for four years...that shows you how much I enjoy this work. I tweak each mod for some house rules of mine, but only to try and make the AI even more brutal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RwB_WL5FlI (short preview video) <a title="Big Battle (Full Version)" href="http://www.you
Right-o, I figured copying over was best. Thanks again, my checksum is all different than "normal" due to have pirates/movement activated - but smooth sailing, no crashes. Thanks again, back to invading poor, helpless TEC.
Does the patch have to be activated like a mod (on top of list...) or can the patch files be copied directly over the original files? That's the method I followed, and everything appears to be working well; I also run with powerful pirates + moosters dynamic and have yet to suffer a crash.
We have not ported them over yet, b/c of reasons above and we needed to get the Core DS (the mod without mini-mods) patched and such. Honestly the current version of DS Diplo is half assed. We ported it ASAP so everyone could get their DS fix with Diplo. Its not out best work. [e digicons]:([/e] Your work is fantastic, even if you think its "half-assed". Thanks for the response! I wa
Silly question, but was the "extras" folder removed from the Diplomacy version? Moosters dynamic movement does not appear to be active in the Diplomacy version; I'm surmising this is due to transferring it from Ent --> Diplo...but figured it wouldn't hurt to as. Great mod, and continue the fantastic work!
While I've been able to avoid mini-dumps, right now the mod does nothing to alter gameplay. I've got the fixed entrenchment version of Volumetric installed, and selected to load first - then DBS loads afterwards. I'm uploading a video to YouTube right now to show what is going on. Frigates and such still run to a certain range, stand their and fire away, I've include a clip of my mod load screen as well. edit: video included, yes the
Now that everything is working tip-top - fantastic mod. Games are action packed and very entertaining...makes me want to try out some multiplayer again...
Understood - it works fine when it was installed. The DELETETHESEFILESFIRST readme is included in the full installation link, so that's where my confusion developed. Thanks again! Great mod!
As a Sins player since launch, this will be my first "mega-mod", however the readme files are somewhat confusing. The installation is very basic, like most mods - however the DELETETHESEFILESIFRST readme reflects the following: Delete everything but the Sound & Textures folders, In the Textures folder delete the following files: Buttons_Research_CursorOver.tga Buttons_Research_Disabled.tga Buttons_Research_Normal.tga<br /
Long story short: I allow the game to update, Impulse downloads the new patch, and when it is complete... Bam! At 100% complete it says "Experiencing network difficulties - The operation has timed out." Using task manager I disabled every other possible program from anti-virus to firewall to instant messenger...no matter what I follow, I get that same error message. Game works(ed) fine with previous versions. Any help? </
This crowd would pay for'em probably...few developers deserve more money! You'z is one of them!
