Thanks, for your help. I was thinking about Team Fortress 2, but I wasn't sure. He has issues with controls. I will get him into Halo first. To get him used to the controls. Then I will give him the buddy key for TF2 that I got with the Orange Box. Edit: Nevermind, for some reason the buddy key I had magically dissappeared.. :(
By the way: He wants to get Halo and he is not interested in multiplayer. Also any other games (NO crappy DRM) also work. Should I recommend Sins of a Solar Empire? My goal is to get him into gaming, one way or another.
My dad bought a $7?? gaming machine that is awesome yet affordable, but he does not game at all. I can stand this no longer! Why do so many great games have this copy protection? I can feel Red Alert 3 calling me. "buy me! Buy ME!" I might just give in buy a copy and use a cracked version. I just can't boycott all these great games: Bioshock, Crysis, Far Cry 2, Red Alert 3, Spore, etc. Must not give in!
Instead of a ranking system, why not a way to speed up a game? Like what Demigod has. Sins of a Solar Empire multiplayer is just so lengthy that it makes you want to speed up your death. Maybe like strategic points that make the player owning them really powerful. It could be an option for every multiplayer game. Newb players would lose quickly and they would know why, how, etc. Important questions that need answers in order to improve.</p
