Hi, folks. Playing Single player as Advent. So I have 3 maxed out fleets almost equal power. Each fleet is really 2 fleets: Frontline melee and long range. I realize it's time to attack an enemy fleet before they slip away. My 3 fleets converge at the enemy planet and well, my fleets win. How about a "chance to damage" surrounding ships on an individual basis (not sure if it's possible)? Assuming an explosion does not uniformly spread damage evenly: Say 10 frigates and 5 cruisers surround an exploding Cap ship; give the frigates a 50% chance of some damage and the cruisers a 25% chance - to simulate their respective "toughness".
I have noticed the errant ship thing in 1.04 & 1.05. One ship just goes the opposite way, even if you "re-fleet", change formation, etc.

Love GCII & DA. However, I always longed for more realistic battle graphics which SoaSE delivers. Not to mention the tactical side of it. Eversince I played Homeworld2, I've wanted those frantic and beautiful battles.
I've got news for ya: You would not hear weapons, engines, explosions from other ships either. Not to mention smoke, drifting as if blown by a breeze!
