Major, if you didnt make anymore changes, the mod is pretty much spectacular as is. The amount of work done from people whos only compensation is their love of Star trek, is staggering. So I wont bother telling you Id like to help but I dont know how, I'll just thank you and be appreciative for what the mod is, not what it isnt. Cause its gold as is.

My apologies regarding the X planets. I didnt realize they were fully operational. I just happened to click one for a description and noticed one of the abilities said TBA, so I assumed you guys hadnt finished them yet. Great work either way, this is the best Star Trek game I have ever played and I have been gaming since pong came out in the 70's. I cant commend you guys enough on the excellent work you have done.
I've noticed X Class planets seem to have special abilities that aren't fleshed out yet. Thats a cool idea. What kinda plans do you guys have for these planets?
Not sure what happened, but we can play now. Perhaps some sort of steam update. Either way, today is a good day to die!!
Thank you Myfist for taking the time to help with my issue. Below are my responses in bold. No add-ons I run the Steller Phenom and Forbidden Worlds. I also have the SoA2 maps installed, but only on my CPU not my brothers. Do you recommend not running any of these? Up to date on Steam yes Both or none are on the Sins public beta. both 1.80 Not trying old s
Continuing to love the mod guys, but I'm having an issue playing online. Both myself and my brother are getting checksum errors anytime we try to join each others games. I downloaded and installed the mods on both computers myself, so i know the versions are correct (0.7.0.1) I must admit it has me stumped. Is there a known issue or any ideas that may help? Thanks in advance.
How will this new DLC affect the mod?
Without giving anyway any spoilers, I have really enjoyed a few things added that pay homage to TNG storylines. Some real pleasent surprises. This is easily the best release so far.
Just wanted to pop in and give a BIG thanks for the updates. Quality work guys, thanks alot. There goes even more of my free time. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Thanks Fist. We were afraid, cause we didnt see an update to SoA2, the mod might not work if we updated the game.
Hey guys, whats goin on with the multiplayer? When we try to login, it says we have an old version of Sins and we are unable to join. This is happening for me and all my friends.
Well its been about a year since we have seen any patches for this mod. Can anyone on the team give us an update on when we can expect to see something, either for Dip or Rebellion.
So are there only 2 people working on this mod anymore? If so, can I assume it will be along time till we even see another update for Dip? If so what a shame, best mod to ever be made for any game imo. I still play the piss out of it.
Sorry if this has been asked before but this thread is 136 pages [e digicons]o_O[/e] Whats the best way to have all your ships cloak? Seems like I have to do each one individually. Is there something I am missing?
Thanks for the answers on the insurgent ships guys, I will adapt my strategy appropriately. I wasnt aware that the TEC had the same ability, because truth be told, I quit playing the original SoaSE along time ago. The only reason its even on my hard drive now is because of this mod and is the ONLY way I will even play the game. That being said, I play the hell out of it. [e digicons][/e] In a word, your mod is EPIC. So far, the Klingons are my
I dont think I quite phrased this question properly let me try again. The Klingon ability "Hide and Seek" in the Imperial Sociey Policy tech tree creates "insurgent ships" in enemy gravity wells. These insurgents attack not only the enemy, but friendly Klingon ships as well. My question is, is attacking friendlies intended, a bug, or something you have no control over? I was trying to use them in a coordinated strike on my enemy, I was quite surprised when they started
Guys, BEST MOD EVAH! So I noticed when playing as the Klingons, when I got the Hide and Seek ability, that the insurgent ships would attack anything in the gravity well including Klingons! Is that working as intended or a bug? Doesnt make alot of sense to me that ships that are spawned by a tech upgrade would attack their own peeps. I also notice the Fed's Akira only has 2 squadrons instead of the normal 4. Forgive me if this was in the notes or already addressed,
I have a question and please forgive my ignorance on this topic, but I dont see anywhere where this has been answered. Will a fleet supply mod be available for Diplomacy? I loved the xtra supply for the mod created for Entrenchment, but alas, it doesnt work for Diplomacy. Sorry if this has already been asked, I just would really like to up the supply.
Hey guys, I rarely post on these boards, but I wanted to take the time to thank you for the excellent mod you have put together. This mod is the only way I will play Sins and the hard work you guys have done is very much appreciated! I wish I knew the ins and outs of modding cause I'd love to help, but as it is I'll jusy have to be your cheerleader instead hehe. Keep up the good work! On a side note, one of my complaints of the game is there simply isnt enough supply for
