So, this might just be impossible in the engine, or a bad idea, or both, but here's somthing that I'd really love to see. When playing against an AI, fleets take pretty even damage, which is nice for the feel of the game, but it feels wrong because tactically they should go for those special ability using caps ASAP, especially ones with super nifty abilities like the Marza or the Vasari Carrier healing everyone in sight. Hmmm, that's an excellent point. If I want it changed, I guess I should just...change it. Duh.
This might be as designed, but if so I'd love it explained to me why. For some reason, I'm having real trouble with subjugators spawning with auto join disabled, so getting them into an existing fleet is a constant, minor annoyance. I love how siege frigates don't join up by default, but somehow subjugators seem to have been slapped in the same category. Is anyone else seeing this?
