Are there any campaigns in this game?
Nope.
Is there a way to label fleets?
Nope.
And how do i designate a ship as the flagship in a fleet?
Make sure that the ship that you want as the leader is highlited in the empire tree to the right. Use either tab or shift+tab to scroll through your selected ships. Now when you press the fleet button it will use the highlited ship as it's leader.
Thanx. But what if I dont meet certain 'objectives'? Will the game end abrubtly if I dont colonize enough planets or something? So the game only "ends" if you kill all enemy planets. Th
But I can't really acquire 4-6 planets with only a few ships to fight off the enemy. I always end up being short on money, it feels totally different than in Command and Conquer games, where I always had an obscene amount of money, and the only obstacle was the contruction queue's. Any help on getting more money?
If you're having money problems, upgrade your starting planets infrastructure first into the game. It helps making money in the long run. Also don't fo
Are you using windows xp? If yes, what language did you specifiy for non unicode programs to use? (Found under system settings, language options.) I once had a similar problem (not with Sins though) because I've got in on Japanese. After changing it to English I could install it.
The folder is probably hidden. Do the following to make it show up: When using XP: 1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options . 2. Click the View tab

Still I would like a clarification. Because the problem is imho the following. If one of the mini-expansions is adding a campaign, you would need
Well, immersion is a personal thing, I'll grant you that. But you cannot deny that a game world is much better represented in relation to your character in 3D. For example, gazing at the wrecked horizon of a ruined city is impossible using an isometric perspective. Or properly marvelling at how *huge* that supermutant is before he rams your head down your neck. From an isometric view, both your character and the huge beast are just toy figures. You cannot look up and say "oshit" to you
Hey I'll just rant on, so please don't take me to seriously. ;)
-the games you list were very good, yes, but they were also not RPG's but strategy or squad tactical games. Those types of games benefit from a bird eye view. RPG's don't. Immersion is a big factor in an RPG and first/third person view is far better at pulling you in the game world than any form of isometric perspective.
Argh, I hate that word, Immersio
Have you played the original Fallouts? Pretty much everything you're complaining about was done in the original games You could cause a nuclear meltdown in a powerplant near a town, there was plenty of gore (you could cut people in half with a minigun, blow off arms/legs, blow off half a chest, melt people..). And there was certainly a lot of cussing.
Well, I mostly just ranted away because I found the opening post a tad bit over enthusiastic. [e digico
Hmmm...I just Dowloaded this program on 5/7/08 and I love it!Being a somewhat "good" mapmaker on Warcraft III this made this game a whole lot better, and I was very disapointed how I couldn't make my own little maps with the game's editor.but anyways, I made a little map for myself to play. But it seems that it's not available in-game.You know how to fix this? I have it save to: | C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy | and it's named "AWAR". Any suggestions?

Can anyone help??
Nope. ;) It's probably because the folder is hidden.
