Plus on top of the fact that the the cruiser carriers are a lot quicker and cheaper to build than a Sova Carrier. And I can have a Kol building while I prep my mini carriers. Granted they're sitting ducks and can die a lot quicker, but they're a hell of a lot easier to replace than the one cruiser that you possibly spent the last hour or so lvling up.

I'm in agreement with the need for the home planet to have more slots. This is supposed to be the crown jewel of your empire. Since an entire empire is built around supporting the homeworld, this shouldn't be any different. Where's the fanfair as I re-enter the system? Where's my honor guard? I don't even get a fricken red carpet. C'mon! Whew, ok. I said it, I'm better now. Back to the subject at hand. Like I said, I agree that the homeworld needs the ability to have more slots
While I really don't have anything to add that hasn't already be said, I'll put in my 2 cents. Yes, something needs to be done with the Stars. Here they are, this wonderful thing that defines the cluster...and it's decoration. If you're going to have stuff like this, why not put other items that you'd normaly see in space? Black holes, nebula, etc. All you see as you're flying towards it in phase space is this '?' where you're going to end up. Why does it have to be colonizable? H
