I suppose it depends in part how they do the beta. Entrenchment wasn't originally going to have a beta, but they realized that it needed one. In this case they are planning a beta well in advance so there might be more scope for input. I suppose it depends what you count as a feature.

THIS IS NOT TRUE. With Entrenchment some of the features changed dramatically during the beta, after suggestions. Things that are completely different (such as new races) are of course not going to be in obviously though,

Its an old argument, and been asked for many times before. I think the point is that either you spend ages on really complex and detailed campaigns (remember that Ironclad is a very small company - or at least they were when they made Sins) or you copout with a handful of games on different maps with a few cutscreens that really aren't worth the effort. They probably figured that seeing as Sins is designed as a skirmish game (quite a skirmish on some of the bigger maps!), it wasn'

If you were spamming, you get banned. If there was an excuse for it (someone else using your account at the time etc) you might be able to get it unbanned by emailing Ironclad and explaining. ...and please don't do what countless people do and go complaining to Stardock instead.

I remember playing games with campaign and no skirmish and hating them for it. Please stop trolling, it is getting annoying. Incidentally your post started badly with the first word. Brad IS NOT DEVELOPING THIS GAME! Go and talk to IC if you want to moan at a developer, but SD are the publishers with a helping hand in development. I think that Diplomacy is the natural extension to the game, since we've had the original fleet bashing, then they ha

Craig (or might have been Blair) said last week that they were working on a new preview, but it got delayed.

As for the lack of credit card, I used to do the old "can you buy this for me and I'll pay you back" frequently until I got my own card. The post about online purchasing is an overreaction, provided its a reputable company its no more dangerous than using a cash machine.

Blimey you can feel the testosterone on this thread! There has to and always will be DRM on downloaded games. All of them. Every company. DRM is a term that is not really understood well. Pretty much every game ever released has some form of DRM on it. DRM is simply a term used for anything that identifies a copy of the game individually. Some games do this by having the disk in the drive. Others have stuff like

OP needs to get his facts straight before ranting on about this. 1. The expansions are not cross compatible, nor can they be. However it is possible to still play vanilla if you want. 2. Stardock is not the developer of this game so stop complaining to them.
