I've edited 6 now, I'd misread the hull value originally

I tried out a test game (1v1 small, normal AI - I wasn't trying to win quickly) to see how the new stuff functioned. I was Advent against TEC. May I first point out though that there were no crashes at all in over 2 hours of playing. Here are my main points: 1. Auto-deployment of mines should be turned off automatically (you have to turn off manually) otherwise they just get deployed on the edge of the grav well as soon as
Is is over? No winner yet...
The last one took me FOREVER
How long before a winner is picked each day?
What I really don't understand about Siddy is that seeing as almost no-one agrees with him about Ironclad why he is trolling this thread. You WILL find bugs and unbalanced elements in a beta, thats the whole point of them releasing it (so we can find them).
Btw is there anyway of paying without a credit card? Or will I have to badger my parents again? [e digicons]:P[/e] ps. I will have one by next week hopefully though
I detect the pungent smell of a troll in this thread... [e digicons]:troll:[/e] Thing is seeing as it has an auto install as with almost all games he must have been custom installing it in some way. Hence its likely to be his problem. If I were you Craig I would kick him out and say good riddance. However I think Mr HighCommander is likely to find that Stardock and Ironclad are an awful lot more helpful than he assumes. Not every
Now that is odd. There's no point in waiting for an hour, it usually loads in a matter of seconds. Is the game updated to latest build? Did this happen more than once?
Brad's clearly feeling modest, I haven't seen Draginol make an appearance for quite a while! Unfortunately Elemental won't be released in time to win next year (unless Stardock possess the magic powers they're putting in the game)
Send in the champagne! Make sure the Frasers don't swig it all down before the rest of you get some [e digicons]:P[/e] . Oh and I think your amazing publishers the Frog and co deserve some as well [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] [e digicons]5*[/e]
*Sends imaginary bottles of champagne to Stardock and Ironclad*
this really is the most irrelevant and pointless thread going isn't it
where did you buy it from?
Nobody told me World of Goo was on Impulse! Yoink...
Do you mean mainland Europe versions? I'm British and got v1.1 when it came out in America. Do you have Impulse?
Well you've come to the right publisher if you hate DRM!
That is quite impressive - a reply from one of the bosses of the developer in question within two minutes of posting. Frogboy will be furious - his record's probably been broken Is you're wondering Canitbedude123, Craig Fraser is joint founder of Ironclad.
Where would we be without Stardock publishing policy? [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
The beta is for balance I'm sure - they've probably finished all the new stuff.
I was just thinking - what are the developers going to do about the tactic of Ogonev spamming (the new missile cruisers). Then someone could simply take out a starbase or loads of facilities by launching from max range before the forces there can react. Could you do is so that each missile fired is an object that can be destroyed before reaching its target? That would make it possible to defeat this tactic. If you've already thought of
It had to happen.. The Frogboy appreciation society! [e digicons]:)[/e] Which other boss of a games company is an active poster on game forums, always appears with the information when you want or need it, and runs a company producing and publishing great games and alike with no anti-customer DRM or alike, and also happens to be a great AI programmer. Oh and he's giving us frequent journals on a game thats not out for over
I'll probably preorder when I finally get me a credit card (the main reason I'm not busy beta-testing Demigod right now) I only picked up DL by chance in a games store a few years back. I currently have DL, DA, TA, SoaSE...
Its interesting how a tech tree seems to be automatically a part of all strategy games nowadays - even ETW is going to have one. I think that it would be interesting if SD could try something interesting here - maybe an experimental system based on continous levels of abilities etc rather than specific this-then-this techs. Maybe something like this could be tried out in the beta testing to see if it is feasable, along with a more standard tech-tree version to com
I would advise closing this thread - its just turning into a shouting match between Conte and the rest of the forum May I also point out that if you'd posted this on an EA forum it would have been deleted instantly. Get a sense of proportion before you start attacking Stardock and Ironclad.
