Yes and no You see if they are testing user stability on the networking side of things that means that the game when it is released will have a far smoother transition for the multiplayer aspect. I.e. you won’t need to wait 4 months for devs to sort out networking issues before playing online or on a lan with friends From the little I have gathered I think that was the main purpose of the beta And as far as I can see they have had no problems with this aspect Except for so

hi there Danosh30 i am not a beta tester but i must say the did do a phenomenal job :CONGRAT: i belive the main thing they were testing for was for network stability.(swiches routers firewalls) you also have to realise that beta4 game is vastly different to the final game that they released. In the 2 betas that i played i never even got to build the shield generators (never was a necessity) :)

hi all The one thing i do wish that they made the planet sheild easeyer to get to in the begining of the game. i.e. drop the amount of reserch centers requierd to get it that would stop that tactic as you have to first destroy the turrets garding the sheild gen and then destroy the gen befor you can bomb a planet.

I got a hold of the beta 3 and enjoyed it to the point that our group of 4 bought 2 copies of the game so we can play the full game on a LAN I could go and justify it with arguments of how its the first game with Real-time empire management, smooth fast and easy transition from fighting a battle to managing an empire in real time (i.e. no tactical map put on pause to fight a battle or clunky turn based system). First off howzit Tekkor thanks for buying the game as opposed to pirating it and Secondly welcome and thanks for posting in the forums. The first few games are very daunting don’t worry bout it just keep at it and you’ll pick it up soon enough. As to your problem if you click on the light factory then on the build frigates button on the far left you can build 3 types of frigates one 1 a scout the other is a light frigate but on the bottom of that menu you can build a colon
