Galaxy Forge start locations in Sins Modding Sins Forums

I'm encountering a REALLY frustrating problem in Galaxy Forge. I've gotten past all the basic stuff, but I have a specific location I want to start in. For some reason, I always, ALWAYS start in the exact same spot, and it is NEVER the spot I want to start in! I've tried swapping the player number that has the slot I start in into the slot I want, and it hasn't worked. Anyone have a fix for this?

I remember an MPOG--in the late 90's, I think--with just the Arceans, Drengins, Terrans and Pirates. I didn't recognize this game as sharing that one's origins until I started playing; I recognized the Arceans and Drengins. I wonder if there's a way to convince anyone to go back to a more action-oriented game, maybe a 3-D combat starship simulator type with realistic physics. Does anyone know if that old MPOG still exists? I'd like to play it again.
