THe ability itself isnt overpowering it is the antimatter/refresh cooldown is the problem. If you can rebuild a whole fleet with 6 Phase gates in no time. The cooldown needs to be tripled at least to fix this!

Yea from my post on the same subject . A small basic map basically makes the computer constantly run or be on the defensive.
If you guys pretty much play just between a circle of people. Come to agreement about mods. Changing resource/process/logic/tac are all in each planet enity file. Download one of the mods on the site and just grab the planets none are modded yet usually and then just tweek them to best suit you. You can even make it more simple by only modding the planetterranhome.enity to get things at a better pace.
I made a small little basic map looking like a * basically as a little AI test. I set it to a 4 on 1 hardest AI level agressive level. I have a few small mods mainly to home planets/income/population nothing too big. Anyways so I wait... build a few defenses... still no attacks..... wait some more do some more resource hording while researching. Then I create my fleet and attack the bottleneck central point in which they have a tota
Just like in the real world..... Most buyers of items want things badly they will pay the price for the limitless amount of supplies of whatever it is. I been looking for the blackmarket file in the game to try do my own testing to balance the system better. The 1.03 version has a good idea behind it overall concept wise cept that buying and selling into the market barely puts a gash in the price now. (I even sold 60k of each) with crashes being too frequent
What it does is change the charge up time which can happen while moving , a 2nd one is best for this having it more out of the front line. Im not sure if it doubles but its a good backup either way and to get extra coverage.
Selling Metal is F5 and Crystal is F6.. Been that for a bit plus try holding down shift or CTRL? I think it is to sell x2 faster
"Markets I made the markets a little more sensitive to player purchases" I been looking for that file overall in the directory cant find any file that involves that has market or black in the name.
The PBJI pretty much covers that now in its current form its better to have 2 anyways =)
I think most bosses are going to hell either way LOL
Bit ridiculous really. So if i throw anything on the ground now im going to hell? Or if i get rich thats me done, hell it is. If i were you id watch out stardock lol. Dont sell too many games. Its a sin to make money now.
Causing poverty meanings the purpose exploitation of a population that causes strain on their own well being. Ex high gas prices, taxes, firing a bunch of employees so you can "save money" for your company when really your just saving your fat 50 million
Here is my example of the PlanetTerranHome.entity I raised the prices on the upgrades Increased extracter slots Increased alot by a boat load but... you need to change the "Stage Counts"(look at the areas below) and then just copy and paste another stage below it and modify it. Galaxy Forge is more or less for map making and "default starting values" so if you want more stages of logistics and all the other stuff you need to modify each planet type xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.entity fil
My system basically matches yours overall. Its more "mid game" and on problem than the system. One thing I did to help "a little bit" was turn off "show cargo ship icons" in options. I think there is a problem with freshing data in the game with clearing out the old data so the file builds bigger and bigger and bogs the game down. There is no reason the game should lag at full view away from the fleet battles. Just hope the 1.03 patch thats due out anytime will fix alot of the mid to end g
I worked on a map a few weeks ago to fit most of the races in. I made 2 versions of the map lil smaller with around 6-8 planets each and another one with a good 14 planets or so each empire wise. I put the frengi in there with only 2 planets but a boat load of asteriods as a style of "cornering the black market" Any of the designers wanna send me a PM i'll send them the 2 maps to check out. I just didnt add the Breen and most dominion planets need names. (I went mainly by this one startrek s
make a file called PlanetModule_WeaponDefense.entity (word pad works fine for this) I assume u know where the folder is for this... since u said u tried modding before. some numbers are different here on the item but i highlighted the number below, for the range. Its good enough to cover that side of the planet TXT entityType "PlanetModuleWeaponDefense" minZoomDistanceMult 2.000000 ability:0 "" ability:1 "" ability:2 "" ability:3 "" MaxAntiMatter
lolz. Is WOW 2 out yet? with expansion pack 15?
What I did for a personal mod is changed the 2nd half of the research supply levels into about 50x the normal cost and doubled the supply total per level with loosing the tax. The problem in sins overall is the time it takes to move your fleet place to place. So battles become a bottleneck before you can use more resources.
Stardock has a different kind of lock, its called your beat for using stardock central for updates but gaming pirates get around that anyways. The simplest way to fix piracy stop being lazy with the methods of protection. Have the game contact one of 3 servers as a check once a day even to check your serial thats saved along with some user/password. (Dont give me the I dont have internet babble) when pretty much 95% of people under the age of 50 do. The ones that don't usually cant even affor
I think my solution is best either way. Its more realistic. Think of ww2 Germany was able to get by and get whereever overall to supress but the "extermination process" took a longer time leaving more time for the other countries to get there in this case ships of empires to stop the extiction.
The problem is not with the siege ships. 30 of any ship focus firing will take out any unit pretty quick. The problem is with the planets themselves. I modded most planets to have about 5x or more health and population each. I found it pretty retarded that any colony could get killed just by a few handful of ships in a moment of minutes. Ok sure big capital ship comes along with its super cannon and wacks a big chunk of life out with a large cooldown, sure I can accept that but co
With the lack of the need to have the CD to play unlike alot of retarded games of the past 7 years they will be able to sell more copies. Besides, its more direct money for Stardock and company for the direct downloading. EB and Gamestop pretty much overall retired the PC software market. They rarely even sell windows upgrades anymore let alone PC games. Most of the stores have a shelf area of PC titles about 5 feet by 3 feet. The area with hints/guides is even bigger than the PC section!!
why would factories really matter?? Any game I played, its always been a matter of resources around for attacks than production line problems. Its rather annoying producing some ships 3 way points back , shrug ur choice for your mod though with have slow production. If this is to slow the computer down, it really won't.
IMO stop crying you sound as bad as a right hander when they come to my house. LOL I dont switch anything around button wise just been used to it. /Gasp what technical things such as left and right click.... =/
What i noticed from saved games is that each "saved game" is pretty much its own entity all together. Even mods wont work on them but dont break the saved games but anyhow u get the idea. It sucks patches break the saved games but really maybe u should install 2 SINS directory wise one to patch, one to have for finishing saved games if they are a 8 hour plus saved IMO.
I think the problem in the multiplayer version is the fact that you dont get a 30 second lag leeway before getting dropped like you do playing Warcraft 3 etc on Bnet. The drops are more instant. Which if that was the case on a blizzard game would be due to a crash but that isnt the case with SINS. I believe most of the multiplayer problems will be fixed in 1.03 patch
