i was wondering when this company was gonna finally screw up half its users with a expansion as usual that takes ALWAYS the forums not a simple txt file to fix their complications !

I will say though I do miss the days of the posters that came with some games! lol I guess then again 10 years ago there was no such thing as alt tabbing and checking x resource on the net. You needed that cool map or whatever else material! BTW a few months ago I found a full version of Stars! on bittorrent. That brought back some memories
there a way to get the lame AI to build more shipyards?????... I always end up having to wait forever for them to actually attack me. Note too I made personal mods and pretty much everyone gets x3 the standard resource/income for getting a lil more action going.
"Pirated" copies/downloads ARE NOT Potential Buyers most people that download Pirated software are not after just that one game, they download a bunch of games hello!! if they can get it for free then why not?? maybe only one out of 5 games they would of actually bought!. Its ashame they didnt adopt the standard diplomacy stuff from gal civ..with adding in the missions... You might actually know wtf is going on with each computer AI and whos tied to who. At the moment its piss poor pure computer gangbang vs human diplomacy programing
Im not saying I loose just pointing out that sometimes culture is a pain in rear. But besides culture... 1 Frigate factory is pretty slow for building up a fleet for a AI especially when they are on "unfair" it defeats the purpose of them having increased resources and the idea they would be pretty hard. With how its set up now , if you have full tactical use... plus about half the supplies research u can out wait the AI cause they won't attack due to the fact they cant overwhelm you mainly

It does inpact you creating extra extractors or a couple ship factories though if you have a few different cultures pounding on your planets. Ive countered it many times but the point is it really gets out of hand when you go attempt a attack. Personally in my experience I gotta rush back after beating down one planet to just to repair my culture instead of pressing forward in the attack.
what ever capital ship that has the colonizer ability should have a assimulater name tag! =)
They seem too fixed overall and soo predictable. They always build one ship assembly area max per planet. It usually ends up being their demise by mid-end game. I am looking at the game froma economics standpoint in game. Usually the computer has a crap ton of resources saved by then and well... cant do crap with it even over 2 hours of rebuilding due to having such low production depots. If 2 planets are way too close to together(example only takes 10 seconds in a jump) the culture is hard to keep balanced.
A few Captial Ships throwing vollys of AE missles at them pop the fleet pretty good =D I think about 4 ships should do it

The problem is the normal files that you get from the install you cant edit. Find a Mod on the forums and just download that. Just take the planet files out and edit them.
yea refresh through all the old settings recycle back. Its a pain but eh =P least its a good way to cause a lil crazyness for a bit. Its ashame we cant give the AI's things to do to get better faction with us though =(

The AI is tricky when there isnt bottle necks. Basicaly like a Lion waiting for you to move then he will move. Overall though the AI has been a coward. Like I said I was way outnumbered between the 2-1 and 3-1 area with it being 4 on 1 comp vs me wise. Im just suprised the Ai hasnt pulled the tactic of instead of retreating just retreat the other way towards one of your planets to try to wipe it out while your tied up. I love Sins overall except in Pax Imperia 2 (which was the PC version after MAC did PAX1 it was WAY BETTER in the star systems and planets overall. SINS needs some trimming to do on how their memory usage works. As it stands the CPU and graphics cards are getting overloaded due to all zoom lengths being processed at the same time. I kinda found the way points between planets kinda silly since in general "warp" has always been between stars in EVERY game and show not planets inside one solar
