I prefer console controls for FPS and TPS games, for me the keyboard hinders my ability to drive big cars and blow "stuff" up. As for the Supreme Commander UI, time will tell, who knows, maybe they'll harness the almighty power of Greyskull and actually pull it off. Even so, it would still be worth getting minus the Double monitor support (which I don't use anyway) simply for the gameplay, I don't know any RTS yet that pulled of the balance SupCom managed.
Mighty Mongoose
mongoose is alive!
Mongoose has been on a three month world tour, spreading the news of Sins to the world, the Inuits were so impressed they're marching straight to their nearest PC World to buy a computer.
dangit, he keeps crawling out *eets goosey again*
I'm now coated with a combination of Alkali and Ipecac, Alkali to neutralise the stomach acid and Ipecac to induce vomiting, I can live forever! Although that's no ex
If you were itching to play Supreme Commander only to find out that you needed the power of the Monolith to play it, look no further. [link="http://uk.gamespot.com/xbox360/strategy/supremecommander/index.html?tag=tabs;summary"]This Gamespot page[/link] tells you everything about it. With the sheer power of the PS3, a version for this console can't be far off. I have Supreme Commander for the PC and, though it plays reasonably well, I can't guar
Why only UK ? Pfff Isle Apes, dont want to play with/against us continentals hehe
We're afraid we'll crush you so terribly that the economy of Europe would collapse entirely, this is for your benefit, honest. :)
This is libelous, infractious and terrible. ...but true...
Plotting you demise Lordkosc
Why? Is everyone doing that now? Poor Kosc, I would sympathise if I too was not plotting your demise.
*Pulls out ban-gun*
It's been on my wishlist forever, but I'm spreading the word to some friends at college!
And luckily our production skillz are top-notch
*Future Mongoose is aghast to see his copy of Sins arrive as an e-mail attachment*
I did nothing today
Starting as you intend to go on? :)
2008 is shaping up to be a great year, enjoy it people!
He'll just use a portal to get into the living room from the roof
You should know I've coated myself in Ipecac, so I won't stay down long.
A.S. Weighted Companion Cube
He lives!
^^ That's called sarcasm too ;)
and in my opinion Britain might have done it themselves just to gain grounds for intervention in Russian policies, they wanted us to change our Constitution.
He knows our master plan! *Agent Mongoose will now terminate TheGreatEmperor* Truly, this is one of many conspiracy theories surrounding it. Other include: It was a terrorist plot to destabalise relations between the US, UK, and Russia and start World War III The same st
*Looks in disbelief* Wasn't this about Stalin? Oh and to rub it in emp, I'm taking a non-exam course at college...no cramming for me, just lots of delicious coursework ;)
Eets won't ever consume you again my friend
Good, now I can begin therapy in earnest...
Sorry to hear about it Multi, I've been there and its terrible.
The displeasure of lordkosc displeases me, though the prospect of the displeasure of Yarlen, though sworn nemesis of lordkosc, also causes me displeasure...I'm sad now...
I have a free version of Audacity and the ogg codec but keep it under your hat. :HOT:
*Completely ignores the insightful (and well written) article and DROOLZ AT THE PURTY PICTUREZ* Seriously, I like that feature. Previous RTS games have had ships and fleet following orders for all of one nanosecond, and then flying off and doing whatever the hell they feel like. Sins=innovative
Dude! Seriousl wth r u doin? Back bacb back back.

Yeah, we totally p0wnzrfied those n00bs.
W3b 5p34k n33d5 1mpr0v3m3n7, bu7 1 533 p073n71
Question: Aren't the music files accessible in the game's directory anyway (albeit in Ogg format, though a determined soundtrack obsessed nerd [with questionable personal hygiene] could find a way around that), so what's the point of the soundtrack? (Or are the music files now no longer accessible?)
I concur, that article seemed to wander aimlessly about. I mean, I know the idea is to get across as much about the multiplayer as possible, but it seemed they didn't stay on anything long enough to get any real info across.
The Collector's Edition version of the game will come with a music CD.
Game soundtracks seem to be going through something of a boom at the moment, that is terrific news, the Sins theme tune has been stuck in my head all week, the sign of great music...
