That definitely sounds like you haven't researched all four levels of the Titan under the Military tree. Each level of Titan research only unlocks 25% of the Titan for construction. If you HAVE researched it, check you haven't lost any labs, technology you've researched becomes unusable once the number of labs you have falls below its minimum requirement.

THE GOOD There's a lot good to be said about the beta. First off is that it already feels more finished than a lot of other games do at launch, so much kudos there. Secondly all the decisions and additions to Rebellion, as far as I can tell given the scope of the beta, have paid off. Titans are rather excellent, and beyond how fantastic the models look, I must congratulate the sound and VFX teams for giving them an awesome presence. Their very existence is a Psychological

I find Corvettes have less utility when it's just them you're fielding in battle, regardless of how many there are and I consider them to be a blended Hoshiko/Cielo frigate weight ship. What you want from Corvettes are their special effects (damage to Phase Drive/Repair Systems). I field them as part of a larger fleet so that there are higher priority targets on the field, and in large numbers, such that it is tedious for a Human player to attack them all individually. Despite their u

Discovered my first Space Ponies! as well during the Beta on an occupied world.

Makes the Capitals super imposing while ships in the Cruiser line large enough as well. I'm sure Ironclad have an internal scale they use for modelling, but whether it translates to lore I'm not sure. Also I like the An

Both the Starbase and Titan could do with beefing up, maybe make the fleet a little larger too just so there is some prep and build up required to take the planet.

Seems about right to me, roughly three to four times the length of the Kol which is what I pictured when I saw the pre-alpha shot. Makes it between 5 and 6 kilometres in length by my estimate assuming my theory that the Kol is about 1.5 to 2km long.

Just played a couple of hours myself, I agree. I did come across a bug where a seemingly random selection of ships at a specific planet would just disappear, but still be listed in the thumbnail icon over the planet, when I clicked on them I was just presented with a blank skybox. Trying to replicate that bug again but otherwise this beta shows more spit and polish than most games on release. Very well done chaps.
Just thought of this... I preordered back on March 12, 2011! Stardock=Impulse back then... Impulse now = Gamestop and Stardock is separate. How is this going to work being that Gamestop/Impulse has no record but Stardock does?!?
That question has been asked before. I'm unclear on the specifics, but it's apparently ALL FINE [e digicons][/e]

Just a query/suggestion. I was playing an LAN game with my friend last night and some way through a rather large 8 way battle started going down, and as you can imagine, that put some strain both on my laptop (the host) and the Network Switch we were using to link together. I'm studying Computer Science, and methods of lightening processor load are a key feature of my studies and my interest was particularly peaked when EVE Online and Supreme Commander 2 rolled out with Time Dilat

I brought it to the attention of a Stardockian in another thread and it's been rectified (on the store at least).
I preordered SoaSE: Rebbellion, its missing in the list. It would be nice to appear there as preorder. Or make a new category Preorders. - The Pre-Order of SoaSE: Rebellion is missing in my Order History (it did order through Impulse, maybe that is the reason?)
Yeah same here, starting to worry it's been forgotten. I know that's probably not the case, but just to be able to see it would be reass

Clarification? This has been changed, thank you for the heads up!
No problem, got my hopes up a little bit, but I knew it couldn't be true [e digicons][/e]

The TEC's defensive options are fantastic, and as such do phenomenally well in a battle of attrition. Their firepower is unspectacular, though it will do the job, though the time it takes to do that job is significantly longer than most other fleets can survive. If playing a long game where it is viable, build a force of Hoshiko's and Cielo's alongside your main force, the Hoshiko's will augment the TEC's already bullish resilience and help them stand against the withering

>sigh< The endless futility of pitting two fictional universes with a different set of rules against one another. It just doesn't work, the classic argument from the trekkies is that Federation shields have been shown to repel lasers with ease, however in Star Wars, lasers are shown to be incredibly powerful weapons. This could be technological disparity or it is more definitely just the two universes being incompatible with one another. Simply put, a weapon or technology that is po
Essentially at the start of Rebellion, you'll be presented with the original, loyalist and rebellion tech trees. From there you have a choice: You can not pick a side (and miss out on a lot of the new techs/ships/pew pew) or you can choose to be a loyalist/rebel (by researching something in one of their tech trees). Once you start researching something in the loyalist/rebel tree, your choice is made for the rest of the game, which will have v
