I can concede the desync point. If you remember far enough back, the devs couldn't patch the networking code in the original Sins, so they had to create an entirely new networking engine for the game. Diplomacy is having desync issues that are being worked on, and this is really not something I run into on other RTSs. And yes, you can save and resume, but is normally puts you a touch further back, forcing you to quickly remember what you were doing at the time. If I'm

This game is far more complex and time consuming then Warcraft, Starcraft, Dogcraft, etc. It's a different beast altogether. It has nothing to do with desyncs. There is a lot more investment that is required in Sins to figure it all out. There is a more tactical edge in combat, as ships do not explode like their hulls were made out of tissue paper. There is, to be blunt, a level of complexity and tactics that standard RTSs don't come close to matching. It i
Thank you, all of you. If my friends continue to think I have anything less then their Trinity copy, because I instead bought Sins, Entrenchment and Diplomacy seperately, I'll point them right here! Thanks again, -Nem
Chuck Norris is the reason the factions are considering Diplomacy. Chuck Norris once created a map. The map was unplayable. Its sheer awesomeness caused every ship, structure, and celestial body to explode the moment the game started. Chuck Norris wins Diplomatic Victories by staring. Angering Chuck Norris in many ways were the titular 'Sins' the Solar Empire commited. May God have mercy on their souls...for he will not. Chuck Norris sweats an
This is going to sound basic, but I am argueing with my friends over it. They all bought Trinity, while I just bought and added Diplomacy to the Sins + Entrenchment I already owned. They have suggested that Trinity is a seperate game, since they could launch Sins, Entrenchment, Diplomacy or Trinity seperately. ("Does your title screen say 'Trinity'?"). They are concerned that they will not be able to play with me, or if they did, that they would somehow lose 'features'
I am having the same issues, just bought it, and while the cd-key is valid for the download page, it won't let me register it to my StarDock account. It's quite frustrating. I've just emailed support about it, and included scans of the outside cover, inside cover, inside of the box (with reg. code), and a screencap of the StarDock registration failure, showing the same key entered. I got this from a GameStop in Orchard Park, NY (just outside of Buffalo). Help? ^^ -[GPA] Nemesis
