it is true that the platroms are out of range but they are still very usefull. all you have to do is tell your vulcuras to go closer to the planet then tell it to attack it. then you can turn the autocast on and the platforms are in range. even though you have to do something extra to get them to work I still recomend using them because they are very useful.

if you are running the beta version you have to open the map up in notepad then at the top there is a version number, you have to change that two a 2 then they should show up.

The antorak maruader works best with a large fleet becasue it has support abilitys like its ability distort gravity allows it and a fleet to travel faster and I beilive that the fleet is also immune to phase jump inhibitors but you have to check that one. and its ultimate ability stabalize phase space is pretty good as it uses the ship as a phase node and you can travel to any planet with a node so it is very good for defence. and subversion ok is not as good as the sova carriers embargo but

actually pinpoint bonbardment is quite usefull. the vulcuras desolator has the deploy seige platform ability and the deploy range is too far from the planet for it to fire but with the upgrade allows it to fire on the planet if the seige platform is deployed on auto deploy. Its not really how it should be fixed but it is a way to make it less of a hasle to manually tell the desolator to deploy the platform in range of the planet. and I'm pretty sure that charged missiles creates

There is also something wrong with the mesh itself. it's bounding radius is -1 it should be a positive number. there was probably something wrong with how you exported it. even without a texture you can see a ship it is just black and has no colour.

You should write a book or something. that is amazing writing and it is probably very close to the devs untold story of how the vasari were pushed back. but one little thing i disagree with is at the begining you assumed that the vasari were less advanced on the non military side. when you go to the convert to xsi screen make sure you are not selecting anything and make sure that the box that says export scene root if nothing selected. or it says something like that. i had that problem for a while if you don't select that box xsi can't export it to a .xsi file. hope this helps
