wow that's amazing [e digicons][/e] thats the size a planet should be.
top vasari
I was playing a game and i noticed that the junsurak sentinal has an incomplete mesh
You should write a book or something. that is amazing writing and it is probably very close to the devs untold story of how the vasari were pushed back. but one little thing i disagree with is at the begining you assumed that the vasari were less advanced on the non military side. I think they would be far superior to the TEC in non military and military. the nanites that the vasari have give them a massive advantage and are the vasaris most valuable resource. the vasari empire has been aroun
well if you get the reference data they should be in the researchsubjuect max ship slots. and you should beable to increase the fleet size.
when you go to the convert to xsi screen make sure you are not selecting anything and make sure that the box that says export scene root if nothing selected. or it says something like that. i had that problem for a while if you don't select that box xsi can't export it to a .xsi file. hope this helps
i don't know about the error but if you want to get the maps working on the beta open the map in notepad and change teh version number at the top to a two then the game will recognize it.
i think the home planets just have some of their planetary improvements already purchace. like on your home planet you can't explore it, there is only one upgrade for popolation left one upgrade for logistics slots and i beilive 2 upgrades for tactical slots. i could be wrong but i think that is the differnce because if you create a map in galaxy forge and put a normal terren planet as your home you will have to upgrade it so you won't be losing money
the culture only makes the planet neutral again so what you have to do is get rid of enenmy culture you can do that with your cap ships becasue they they repel culture. or if you have brodcast centers for yourself to repel their culture then you just use a colony ship or colony cap and re colonize it.
the mod directory is hidden by defult so you have to go to tools at the top of windows explorer and click folder options and go to veiw and click show hidden folders and files
i think it takes 50% longer to travel through phase space. not too much but with phase gates you should be able to get your fleet there in time
In seriousness, I find TEC caps to be good ships, with the Marza being my favorite followed closely by the Kol. Just watch out for Space Eggs and Kortul Devistators as they can give you a hard time, espically in combination.
well thats true for all vasari ships. if you make a balanced vasari fleet it is next to unsopable becasue the vasari ships all fill a role in a large fleet. even the Advent would have trouble stopping
Kingofsiam is right a balanced fleet is not spaming one unit and you should buy overseeres because in a fleet they have the reactive nanite armor which increases the hitpoints and armor of the targeted freindly ship for a period of time. which can be usefull to keep a cap ship alive. and they are also usefull on planets beside enemy planets becasue they can slow down incoming enemy fleets to ley your fleet get there to defend your planet. this stratagy is especially deadly with phase
yeah go Vasari they are unsopable
Anytime
the Martzas are the best level 1 cap ship. 1 on 1 they can destroy any other capital ship. but in the late game they are deadly because of missile barrage. which can devestate enemy fleets
there is a program called Switch sound file converter you can find it here http://www.nch.com.au/switch/plus.html it can switch most audio files to anything you want. so you can convert mp3 to ogg or any sound file to ogg and back again if you want. just get the download version
playing as the advent i noticed that pulse beams were coming out of my constructors and going to my turrets or maybe the other way around. they didn't do any damage but it just looks weird. pursuing this further i noticed that even TEC ships were doing it. it seems to happen mainly when the Vasari are in the system. has anyone else seen
anytime [e digicons]|-)[/e]
are you running 1.09? that should make it minidump but who knows what might happen
I can't even figure out how to open them. I know the convert tool exists, but can't igure out how to use it. I also couldn't find a complete guide to use it. am I supposed to run it rom the cmd prompt?
did you get the sins mod package from the download section here at sins? if you didn't download it and there is a folder called refernce data. those are all the same as the 1.05 gameinfo. and you can op
oh yeah, where are the .txt files? i can only find one (package 2) and its a jumble of symbols
to get the text files you have to download the sins mod package from the downloads section here the text files are the reference data files and you can edit those with notepad
probably the easiest way to learn how to edit the text files are to read the documentation on sins modset. it gives you the basic in how to change the entity files. for mor eadvanced you usualy have to learn on your own it would take alot of explaing for every single detail. the easiest way to create new text files is to find one thats similar and copy it and just change what you want to
its not really possible to win by culture alone becasue your enemys planets would take a long time to rebel and they could easily wipe you out before you could make enough of their planets rebel. winning by culture also isn't possible because cap ships repel culture so if your enemy has any capital ships (which it will) you won't be able to take its planets. even if you had enough ships to hold the enemy advance and you kept the enemy caps at bay winning by culture isn't possible alon
i think you could probably get Impulse and download the game again and it would be in english i think. if you want impulse its at http://impulsedriven.com/
Will building a starbase use the tactical slots of a planet and/or fleet/capital ship capacity?
my bet is the devs will probably have something like starbase cap. that would make sence because it would give the TEC a HUGE! advantage if they could just keep building starbases wherever they want becasue of thier huge Economy. But that is just a guess i have no idea how they will limit the building o
