Because capitalships cap at level 10. And because titans don't need to be any more powerful. Key difference is I can end up having 16 Capital ships yet only 1 Titan. If I max out 8 Cap ships (which would be remarkable), I can still max out 8 more. The likelyhood of that is much smaller IMO. A Titan however once capped leaves nothing.... Anything can always be more powerful.

I have for the first time got my Titan to a level 10. Is this a cap? The thing is the experience row dissapeared. Meaning I have no idea when I would next level if I could. This makes me beleive it is capped. And if so, GOOD GAWD WHY????
Never Mind. I see it is capped at 4. Didnt realize it was tied to the "purchase" level cap.
I have Mass Transcendence level 2 and a large fleet of capital ships. Some are maxed but I have a couple sitting at level 5 not gaining any experience. Is there a bug on this? Is there something I am missing about the tech?
? So you want me to just run a report? Well I decided to roll back my entire OS. I noticed it was not just sins having problems, i.e. definately something with the graphics driver. That seemed to correct the issue.
I recalled seeing this back in pre-release days and never actually ran into it. Two nights ago there was an update to my nVidia however I played SinsRebellion after the update. All seemed fine. Now I am seeing a black screen when I boot up. It seems entirely unresponsive. Not sure what to do... Any ideas?
Also at those numbers I would not necessarily say it was "lagging" but there was choppiness. Enough to gripe IMO. Alls I did was load up an old Huge auto save that was still there and there was a battle with my Titan going on. Choppy on any zooming or panning etc. It does ease up a bit after the load. But then it will return (as I have seen it many times) if I continue. I will give it a whirl again (I had a large game going on) and see if it bogs and post the numbers when it g
It appears my RAM is consuming about 2.32 GB. THe CPU is a little harder to nail down as I am jumping out of the game and monitoring the Task manager. It appears that some of my cores are going between 30% usage upto about 60%. IN other words all of the components have still enough resources to grab more than they are using.
With all of the other versions of Sins I eventually played on Huge with multi stars (i.e. 5 stars and 10 players). In addition I have an impressive system that could handle everything maxed. However, with Rebellion this does not seem possible. If I run with Huge the system gets "choppy" quite quickly into the game. It is most noticeable when zooming in or out. I have also noticed that once I built my Titan (could be a coincidence) the performance got significantly worse. Eve
I have steam auto staring (default). Is there a setting somewhere that I can give it admin? Not sure if I would want to do that though. Steam may be great but they also have some issues...
I have no idea what this is. I play Sins quite regularily and this weekend when I started it up (from Steam) I get a prompt to start a steam program. Specifically the program name is Steam Client Service (buildbot_winslave04_steam_steam_rel_cli...) It says it is located in the bin of steam and an instal script follows that is in the steam apps common Sins of Solare Emprire Rebellion runasadmin.vdf 204880
Yep that was it :)
NM. Just figured it out. I lost a Military Lab and it apparently disables it.
I have no idea what happened. I built my NC and it was auto firing fine for a while. Then I had a specific target I wanted to hit so I went to turn off the auto firing. To my surprise I find the NC just sitting there at full power not doing anything I click on it and there is only a single icon "Stop orders in progress". What could have happened? Is it a bug or did something happen that I am unaware of that has (as it seems) permanently disa
Hmmm.. Doubt it. Dont get me wrong. I would like it and likely purchase it. But my thoughts are simple. Why make a Sins 2? Any answer you can provide can also be given with a completely different game but with a SoaSE attitude and angle. And why not take that approach? For the barely existing story line it is easier to start clean. They may be sitting on numerous "should have done" ideas but the tech and abil
" Moved Civilian Evacuations from Tier 3 to Tier 4. Moved Mobile Rulership from Tier 4 to Tier 5. Moved Shipboard Labs from Tier 5 to Tier 7; reduced number of labs per capital ship from 2 to 1. " [e digicons][/e] That sux. Granted rush for it was a strategy, but I thought that was the point of Loyalists. Now "Uplifting" your fleet is impossible. You miaswell dig in for
When I have my loyalist Titan drop a phase stabilizer in a well controlled by an enemy it does not seem to work.
Often I stack many tech purchases... But then sometimes I realize I need one "NOW" but I am not sure if I will get it next or after the other purchases. It would be nice to see the order. It seems there is space to the right of the tech screen with in the tech screen. Maybe put a vertical column of order purchases techs if they are on the stack. Also maybe allow cancellation and reordering from that column.
It would be nice if the mouse over info displayed current effects (good or bad) and duration etc. Also I love putting it in cinematic mode but I also want the mouse over effect. I would like to either customize the cinematic mode or have mouse over effect on it. I do not want to have to hit ctrl to get such info. It is critical info (HP etc) so I feel as though I am holding ctrl and mousing over.... Why not just have the info pop up on mouse over even in
Both the latest and last release this tech is not doing anything. I know it was working with the first release of beta 2 as I was building many hangers and enjoying 4fighters. It dies nothing on either level now though:-( Alseems that that Homing mines design should have a pre-req of hanger defense.

I have a system with a Starbase which has Auxilory Government. It is basically end game and the 2 remaining forces have decided to attack this planet together via pirates. They however are just bombing the crud out of the planet not doing anything. They should really attack the starbase as the planet already has 0 pop, but I still am controlling it because of AG.
Very good points. Yeah I don't want it removed or moved in the tree. Not sure what the answer is. But you have good points :-)
Sounds like you all are playing rebels wrong then. My rebel strausing to use the Truce tech. By going for it immediately and building one or 2 colony ships you can conquer many wells with no additional resources. You can then use the saved resources on upping your economy thus raising your resource input well beyond the loyalits. After that you just build the Titan and can do so easily with just a little luck on start (close wells and resources).&
You don't need the email. I downloaded and was playing before I got it. Log in to theirdownload center ayouths beta is their with a key. Use that in the steam client and it will start downloading.
