Tristan would you know what software also allows the importing of 2d images like i have a few 2d images of ships 2-4 side views and wanted to implement it in a 3d converter and looking online i guess it doesnt understand what i am asking for. I have Macross/Robotech ships i would like to convert and then import and attach to the game if thats clear. And ya take all the time you want i am still w8 on galaxy forge

Actually I think a story mode would be good. And a well crafted one could be milked for GENERATIONS (games and RL). Think about it, if you ever played Hegemonia that had a decent story and Nexus, well that was even better yet still Hockey. And to all nay sayers, games are the new mediums for stories. So far i started working on some of the crafts got all the ships data and weapons already so its not that difficult. Dont know bought the Haydonites though since so few info on them exist but the universe is so rift with cultures could even create one from scratch by matching a few of them together.

Yall have a good point but aestheticlly pleasing a few my cramp some1 else. It would be cool to make them look leaner and less blocky. But i expect those types of changes to come in the Xpac with a single player IN-DEPTH campaign

How Cool would it be to make a mod where there were Fighters as the main Force with very few Capital ships and few cruisers. I cant w8 for the forge tools so i can get started on it. And hopefully there will be a way to link scenarios so i can make a mini campaign with story

I play Vasari at the exclusion of all else and i gotta say I did get RA several times but found it lacking. Especially if i had to get the fleets together and then mass them for assault. I just build the gates so i can move around quicker ala stargate. NEways, if u still run into peeps telling u not use the gates tell them not use the roboic drones and the economic buff of the tec and the other 2 found in Advent

Do you actually get a planet through Culture. I completely iso'd a enemy planet and never got it in 3hrs so just bombed it. Culture is shitty - only works for the AI lol

ya turn it off and link all the dark armadas and send them to the "eye of terror" Lanneshe welcomes them all lol. I use Vasari almost exclusively and go out of my way to kill them first in MP that autocast from the tunneler is both helpfuland a hindrance so turn it off

Vasari all the way :) I use a carrier heavy defense battlegroup Sakantra(whatever) Ship as the head and add a bunch of frigates, 6 combat oriented cruisers, 5 overseers and the 5 of the other cruiser. I generally make 10 carriers and split the fighter bomber combo. Such a battle group owns and having the Skimantra (damn Stardock yall need an online pdf lol) in those Battlegroup make for an insane combat fleet. Its more attuned to quick strikes but with such heavy fighter/bomber wings it make

How bout just a "Homeworld Like" game with similarities so near its impossible to prove or disprove. Change race names and mesh them together and also add different aspects from similar games so you get around the IP thing. Loopholes guys their everywhere. THey can say you can do that because it looks too similar to homeworld cuz they would have to have all other video game companies with said similarities to cease and decease and that aint happening :LOL:

well i can tell u of one problem that can be fix. From 250% put it 2500% or even 35000% but then again it wouldnt go into the ship. I think one of the vasary cruisers has that ability you can test it on that. I dont remember the name but i thinks its skavaros enforcer. Keep us posted if it works
