Well, when it comes to the Asteroids/Moons I always assumed the people were located on the one orbital platform that appears.

Pre-ordered! I missed the discount the first time, so glad you decided to do it again! Thanks Ironclad/Stardock!
Wow, now I feel really dumb. :) I just didn't think it would be compatible for some reason. Thanks!
Hey, just wanted to say awesome mod. Good job and keep up the good work! I was wondering if there has been any custom maps made for the Diplomacy version of this mod? I know when I played the Entrenchment version it had 2 custom maps with a recreation of each factions starting home system. I was disappointed when I picked up Diplomacy and it didn't have those custom maps. So I was wondering if someone had put together any custom maps?
What Dirty said. Glad to see you are enjoying Sins. It's a lot of fun, but it can be confusing. I remember when I first started playing it took me forever to get everything down. Don't be afraid to ask questions, there are plenty of people here who are more than glad to help! We all were beginners once! [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Yeah I would like a different end screen. Maybe something in a similar style of the opening cut-scene that is race specific. Animated drawn stills with a short narrative specific to whatever faction you were playing as. Ex after TEC victory: Still shots of cities celebrating with fireworks, large numbers of TEC ships in formation, etc with a short narrative saying how the TEC have finally pushed back the invaders and so on so forth. Hmm, since every micro-expansion furthers the timeli
So I had to wipe my computer the other day. I've reinstalled Sins and updated it, then I purchased Entrenchment and installed it. When I go to start up either the Sins Launcher or Entrenchment I get a Runtime error. It really doesn't give me any other information other than that. Does anyone know what is going on and how to fix it? OS: Vista Home Premium 32bit (Service Pack 1) Processor: Intel Core Duo 2.5 Ghz Memory: 4GB Ram Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8600
[e digicons]:'([/e] ...darn, didn't catch that in the OP. I feel dumb now, excuse me for a minute while I go sit in my corner. [e digicons]v_v[/e] Ok, minute is up. Yeah, whoops, well in that case then yes, that would be a waste of money if it was only a 1v1. [e digicons][/e]
There is a method behind the madness of placing bounty on other players even after the death of the pirate worlds. This method seems to be easily overlooked by players so let me divulge the secret. The secret is: It attracts other players to attack the player with the bounty. Idea behind the madness: Bounty isn't just for the pirates. Yes it decides who the pirates are going to engage, but there is another use for it. When another player attacks and destroys ships of
Sometimes its hard to notice they have arrived. I've had this happen to me several times playing as Vasari. I would use Dark Armada several times and not notice the units arrive in the system.
*Hurghk!* Umm, I-I just threw up in my mouth a little. *swallow* Alright I think I'm good. *Hurk* Excuse me for a minute everyone.
....GC? I'm not very good with acronyms. What game are you talking about? Galactive Civ?
I think it was never done, because of design effort and computing power. but it definately would be nice to have them.
That doesn't make sense though. Why would they put in the distinctive debris for some Vasari Capital Ships and none for the TEC and Advent. You would think that if they wanted to help make the game run even more smoothly they would take all the distinctive debris out and just make everything unif
DRM needs to burn in the deep fiery pits of the Earth. I already fell for buying Dead Space and that is the last and only game with limited installs I will ever buy. It cracks me up to hear companies who put these kinds of DRM on their games say that it is to stop pirates, and then hearing that there is a pirated version a week before the game is supposed to come out. It's hilarious! [e digicons]XO[/e] Supposedly pirates can't get updates to the game, but that is still no excuse for l
Oh I just remembered something very minor that I've been thinking about for a while now. I have no idea if this has been mentioned before but here it goes. When it comes to Capital ship debris the Vasari seem to have special debris from there dead capital ships (or at least a couple of them). The one that I notice the most is the Vasari Carrier Cap. When it is destroyed there is a large and very distinctive chuck that is left as debris. This is very different from the TEC an
This is what I love about Sins. I love the shear size of fleets in this game. This is my first game where I get to construct a massive space battle fleet and send it out to crush my enemies. Another thing I enjoy are the sizes of the ships. To me it is so cool to zoom up right next to a flak frigate and compare it to the size of a Capital that is sitting right next to it. It just makes this great game even more grand. Thanks Ironclad, you do us proud!
You could in the original game. I don't own Entrenchment yet [e digicons]v_v[/e] , but I would assume it hasn't changed.
there will not be a retail version. not worth the materiel and logistics cost.
Which I'm sad about. Have they said anything about combining the three micro expansions into a retail version? I bet they won't, just want to know if there was any news.
I think you have to Pre-Order Entrenchment to play the Beta. I would wait for confirmation from other the other people on the forum though.
For turning off the ownership icons when you are not in cinematic mode first make sure in the User Interface Tab that the Cinematic Mode tab is on Off. Then go up and turn off the Show Mesh Ownership Icons. That gets rid of the ownership icons without having to be in Cinematic mode. Note: If you hover over or select a unit the icons will show up, but if you remain unselected then they won't appear. Also if you want to turn of the ship icons then make sure the Show Icons
Well I think you can only recored a certain amount at a time with the free version of Fraps. There is another program that is legitly free. Sadly, I can't remember the name. [e digicons]:P[/e] It is defintly not as good as Fraps though.
I always just considered it one of the inner core worlds. So at the moment the war is raging on the outer to middle colonies so you won't see it. Too tell you the truth at first I was disappointed that Earth wasn't a planet. I wanted to nuke, glass, and kinetic bolt it! [e digicons][/e] Another possible theory is that Earth has been destroyed or run out of resources to be of use. Sins doesn't have a starting date, but you know it has been a long time because the Trade
I would think you would be fine. You may not be able to run Sins at full graphics because of your processor (as it just meets the requirements). Well I'm not a wiz when it comes to computers so I would wait for some second opinions from the rest of the community. Edit: Dang it! I was hoping to get the first post. *sad face* lol and we pretty much said the same thing. Awesome!
I have to say that once again, this is awesome. Man I love it when you put the camera on the bombers. It's so awesome to watch the battle unfold from the perspective of the bomber. Can't wait to see the conclusion.
So have you uploaded the TEC vs. TEC? If you have, your links do not show up on your OP.
