My problem with wormhole is basically at my first map at retail version, huge random map, 7 hard AI, wormhole was interlinked within my home star system, which is okay because basically it mean more defense on star with incoming via another star etc, but next 2 huge random map, 9 AI and me, it was linked to another stars. Well pardon my lack of grammar/spelling skills since it 1am here. As i played this game since Beta 2, i already finished 2vs2vs2vs2 in huge random as TEC then decide to go for more challenge, playign advent (because i love the size of hangers givign 3 squadron with 7 fighter/bombers each making it 2 hanger normally as one) so I went for 1vs3vs3vs3 in huge random, me vs the world! Now I do mostly grab economy alogn with mothership to attack and colony planets early on with building
