So I played around with the rebel titan for a few hours last night. Anyone else feel it's damage is way out of wack? I mean its essentially a flying railgun that doesn't do much damage its autocannons and missiles seem to do much more damage. It just feels awkward as far as its damage output.

As I was playing last night I hit on every point almost that the OP brought up. I agree 100% The only other thing I would add that is a little cosmetic for me is that i think the starbases should be probobly twice thier size, they seem very undersized at the moment. Also I think thier weapons range should span the entire grav well and completley shut down a outbound hostile phase jump to force the confrontation.
ask yourself really; who is the patriot act being directed against? I know it sucks for people of Islamic descent who are being needlessly targeted, racial profiling always sucks, but the Patriot act has really nothing to do with the precedent of infringing upon liberties. Exactly if your not breaking any laws you have nothing to fear from the patriot act. Its simple as that.
The message was removed but they should still be working. Was a mistake on my part. I went under Documents and Settings/Application Data instead of Documents and Settings/Username/Application Data No problems all my screens tucked away safe and sound
Screenshots no longer work since the update? I tried to take several but none showed up in the folder thier supposed to be in.
Uh oh, it looks like GalCiv induced megalomania is seeping into Sins as well! What do you mean GalCiv induced.. Mine is naturally occuring
lol thanks for the reassurance lordkosc
Yes, absolutely! Just go to Menu > Options > User Interface > Cinematic Camera. At one point we had this in-game, but we decided to take it out to clean up the UI. If there is sufficient demand we may consider bringing it back. In the meantime you can use Ctrl+Shift+Z to hide the UI. Enjoy! Will asking for it many times suffice?
Mousewheel zoom in certain situation has been the cause of a crash. Im not yet sure if its the trigger or if its just a poorly timed scapegoat but so far everytime I crash its been while zooming in high traffic instances.
can't belive i missed that thanks
I looked at the in game controls and tried every combination of keys that made sense to me but I couldnt figure out how to destroy any structure I have built or order a unit to destroy it. Is this not possible?
You mean the larger pirate ship? I just took it out first..
I would like to get everyone's feedback on both camera options - attached and strafe-enabled mode. Click on the camera (or lock) button beside the menu button at the top center. Thanks! I like the attach camera its very good to follow the action a little closer, as for the strafe camer, its a little hard to keep up with units when your zoomed out even just a little bit. Also a question is there any plans for a more cenimatic camera such as Emp
I was able to reproduce the crash I had the other night, it seems to be linked to high traffic situations and attempting to zoom out. For instance in both cases there were high volumes of ships in this particular instance (On the order of 200+ from 3 different AI) and I zoomed out and crashed here is the Log. Exception Log
A thought on my part, maybe its just me but do units seem a bit dumb on pathfinding the shortest way to a destination IE. 'im going to the repair station, but i wont take the path through the group of asteroids im going to go all the way around them'
I had an intense moment last night, I had a empire wide defensive force of 2 battleships and one of the 10 AI's was coming at me with a huge fleet of like 70 ships. I ordered my battleships away from my core planet and yes sadly it fell but my defenses ripped them apart. But I rebuilt quickly and eventually they came again to my homeworld but this time I had 4 battleships 2 dreadnaughts and 2 carriers as well as 4 hangar facilities and about 8 gauss defense platforms. That battle was a sight to

Unfortunately my first post about beta has to deal with a crash, last night the game crashed with no warning of why. I had been on the game since about 12 hours, stayed up till about 5AM (wonderful game btw) I had isolated 2 worlds from the rest of my enemies empire i went and finished them and i zoomed over to them and started some construction. All was well as my fleet had just arrived at my new frontline ready to engage the next target in my campaign howver as soon as I panned down the audio
