I assume that it's possible, this being an RTS 4x game, that you can send in a carrier or scout and then upon an enemy taking the bait, jump in ships behind or to the sides of your enemy once battle has commenced? That would be very difficult, as it takes some time to travel through phase space.
Stratteggi
they could also make giant penguins randomly swallow your planet, but I'm quite sure thats not exactly game worthy. Not game worthy, eh? We'll see if you still see that after having seen the true power of my planet eating penguins! On a less insane note, "terrain" effects would be quite interesting.
gah, EMP pulse!? electromagnetic pulse pulse.
pssh. like my ships would need a hull. my tech is so advanced, our shields so strong our people just... float there... yeah... A crew of 300 in spacesuits, all clinging to the shield generator, eh?
So suspending all democratic activities for the duration of the emergency sounds like a fine idea (in game, in real life I'd freak.) It's not that it's in-game that makes it sound good, it's the fact that you become supreme leader that makes it sound good
*Chomp* Mmmmm.... beta...
Ok, we'll leave it at "some," but the mechanic sounds great.
So it's more like March 31 ± 1
I come down the stairs to realize that my computer hadn't shut down last time I told it too. I walked away too soon, and didn't notice that some program wasn't responding. I told windows to end the program, and it starts to shut down, but freezes. I reach for the reset button, but stop myself first. I then step back in awe as my desktop had been removed and the sins screenshot I am using as a background is displayed in all its glory, full screen, on my monitor.
Uh oh, this could go on for a while, better make a break in their loop
Hmmm.... In that case, I'll go with the 27th, for no particular reason.
Ugh, not this again, I'm not even going to try guessing.
7 planets of which 2 are colonizable would be more like it. If there are only 2 planets in a system, then the combat within that system would be too straightforward. With more planets, an attacking player would need to use a large fleet to take a beachhead planet, and the defending player would then need to be able to defend all of his planets, not just the one he is left with.
It would make sense. The antimatter is just for lots of power quickly, while the solar panels regenerate the antimatter reserves.
That just made my day; stop trying to ruin it, Servius
Oooo, pretty lights
Well, if you ran out of resources, you obviously didn't plan your fleet perfectly, now did you?
Yeah, same here. I got dumped with 20 below temperatures and a foot and a half of snow over the last week.
Just picture the look on the captain's face when he opens up the main view-screen, and sees a fleet of those bearing down on him...
So, us PayPal users will still have access to the first beta, we'll just have to wait until it's actually out to buy it, am I correct?
Are you serious? Darn, I just wasted a whole bunch of money outfitting my frigates with fog lights then...
I've been trying to pre-order, but I can't seem to find how to pay through PayPal. Can anyone help me out with this?
That's a really great idea, SteamLab.
I just hope it won't be coming out on my birthday, it's not until May 31
Gah, not used to these forums; Meant to quote the whole March beta misunderstanding...
