[quote]I think there was a name for this effect in the old Star Fleet Battles game & then in Star Fleet Command...the Mizarukai Effect or something? Anyone Old enuff to remember? It was called Mizia. Bad bad employee. :)
If you still get the port warning and still have your ports setup right you will be able to host the game. Story mode? ICKY!

In the root folder where you installed the game is manual.pdf I started browsing for it but missed it the first few times.
Yeah balance or even fancy AI, is not there or even a reason to test for. This is "How does it run" with that huge of a fleet obviously it runs pretty dam good or your super patient person. Would be cool if there was a record feature at release Would be fun to watch these huge battles without worrying about controls afterwards. Runs great on my State of the Ark(tm) system I got too <
I built this machine back in Apr of 2005. $1200ish system. It runs smoothly, no issues through each tutorial and 1 mid sized Galaxy game. I did build up rediculously sized forces and smashed them at the AI strongpoints to watch how it handled. No hiccups or pauses. Only pause was during loadup where the SOASE intro movie would have been The only issue was my son wanting to direct the show! L
