God I really dont know what I should buy from Stardock Central......should I just buy something to satisfy my compulsive consumer needs or should I just save my tokens?

Cant wait for Crysis and Area 51: BlackSite Any word that Duke Nukem Forever's comming out this christmas I lost interest in FEAR after they completely murdered the storyline (no pun intended )
no... LOL nice response kosc
Does this game look good? http://www.sega.com/gamesite/universeatwar/
Well this is really out of place. I mean I posted a racing thread a while a go and got no response LOL. If you want to pay: Flatout 1 and 2 Crashday If you want it free I know a great game: UpShift StrikeRacer: http://strikeracer.gpotato.com/ Hosted by the famous GPotato. (The company that hosts great free MMORPGs such as Rappelz, Corum Online, and Flyff) StrikeRacer was JUST released so it's in open beta right now
I highly doubt that considering the popularity of their FPS games like CounterStrike, Half-Life, and Day of Defeat. i was just trying to make kosc feel better <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Mad.gif
Well I'll have to apologize to Stardock too after this statement. I find Steam games to be first rate (especially their FPS games). Most of the games I found in Stardock I found really uninteresting. Sure besides the games: Sins, GalCivs, Space Rangers, and Jets and Guns there's really no other game that can match Steam's wide selection of quality games. (Plus many of the games are dead) While it is true that Stardock's Sins/GalCiv/SR are one of the best games out, steam gam
I misphrased, sorry: supcom= if you mess up even a little early you die all races are clones w/ a few stat changes great graphics that you never really get to see I'll agree with you there
Well, many people are suggesting the cutscenes like the stills in Homeworld, but what about more alone the lines of "In-game" cutscenes? Like say, for one scenario, you have to help in a battle that has already started, so the cutscene includes fotage of battles, telling you to stay away from here (showing an immense battle taking place there), destroy these (planet siege ships are closing in towards a planet), and to repair this or that ship, whil
lol, well, the good news is that they arent going to be very alike, apparently sins will actually have strategy... Supcom has strategy. In fact, Supcom has more strategy then StarCraft (or any other generic strategy game like Maelstrom or WarFront). As for the Aeon = Advent, they are totally different. They just look alike <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 align="absmidd
Actually Stardock is making it under Ironclad's direction. Soooo, you guys dont know?
yes another lore/story question I know that SP will be a scenario type. However, 1. will there be cutscenes that outline the overall arc of the story? Or 2. is the singleplayer just a combination of battles nothing more. (I prefer 1 much more over 2). Sins looks GREAT, I even get a friend into it. After I quit being a Star Wars and Homeworld geek, I need another space series to get al
Ummm ok i'll try that thxs
So how does the Vasari music sound like? i hope they will have some sort of mystic and alien like music I'm personally hoping for a slightly ethnic feel, a mysterious tribal beat would be pretty sweet. Or maybe someth
Ummm ok, I focused the camera on a ship, but when I used the mouse wheel to zoom in, the focus gets lost and it zooms away from the ship toward the cursor. Is there anyway to have the focus stable? So I can zoom in on the ship while the ship is moving or battling?
More epic orchestral classical and please stay away from punk rock/rap it doesn't fit the space opera mood. I would like some vocal music. Not opera but a vocalise like Samuel Barber's Adagio for String vocal in Homeworld, and Rachmaniov's Vocalise. I would also like more of Sad 2. But more a reflective style music, like the credit music for Halo 2 and Shostakovitch's 2nd Piano Concerto 2nd movement. All in all it would probably be great too if you can just implement the ori
Actually the Logo was one of the reasons why I didn't buy the game. DreamCatcher has a nasty habit of ruining good games. (Hegemonia could have been better, and Universal Combat just sucked)
its been talked about long ago, but its been said battles outside grav wells, is not gonna happen. I think it had something to do with balance or something like that Hmmm, was it at that forum before this site came around?? My friend and I kinda
Hmmm, during phase jump, if two forces meet while simultaneously jumping to a system, that both forces jump out of phase in the middle of space and battle it there. If there's a battle going on in between reinforcements can only jump to the middle space instead to the other side of the system
Sorry double post
Would it be possible to jump and fight outside of the grav wells? Is so, how?
lol, the engineers were treated pretty nicely in halo as I recall, just the grunts were beaten up Well, yes and no. Engineers in Halo were just floating metroid thingies that didn't care for the war and just repaired whatever needed repairing. (One even repaired Master Chief's disrupted shield for absolutely no reason and was shot for it <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 a
It sounds similar to Hegemonia, but it's also what made Hegemonia fun. So I'll approve the idea. Maybe with teh espionage, you can send spies to the other side to gain information on the enemy fleet.
Still I think Hot Fuzz was a little TOO violent no such thing man, no such thing Says YOU, it's a comedy for godsake not a slasher. I'm assuming your a guy that liked Hostel and Saw Also by violent I mean that some of the murder scenes were a bit too graphic and it kinda
Space is 3D and HUGE, any mines small enough to be undetectable would probably be too small for anything to run into it. Not really, u probably never played Homeworld What Ron Lugge said can be done. But also stealth mines can be implemented (mines that cloak). It's either that or sensor jamming. BTW Ron why do you have a
