Well I guess everyone has simply given up that the DreadLord crash will ever be fixed. Same for me, when they arrive and crash the game if I have a save far enough back that I feel it worth dealing with I'll restore to that point, if not the only thing is to start another game. I guess lack of sales, money and developers does that to a game.

I got use to random crashes in Twilight of Arnor because the were random, couldn't tell what caused it and all I had to do was set save game to every 3 turns and start up again. One thing that just bugs the crap out of me is the Dreadlords crash. Every time the Dreadlords appear the game crashes. (no not in the training or simulation games where they are there at the beginning) but in the game when they just randomly appear. I went through support, they tried

Did you ever get this problem fixed? I have the same issue, have been putting up with it for quite a while. DreadLords appear, the movies starts, then the we get the excuse "sorry but we had a problem and died." This has been happening before I upgraded my hardware and after I upgraded my hardware which included a format and reload of XP.

Ok, I'm sure I've simply missed something but I cannot find it and didn't find a post in the forums about this. I've installed Impulse to my D drive..(only OS on C) Now when I install games they all install to the C drive. Nothing on any of the impulse options about where I want to install the game, what path(s). How do I specify where I want a game installed?

Thanks for the replies folks. I didn't think I was missing anything. In a single player game while it may be a pain that I can't have multiple avatars/players what I will do is simply settle for whatever my son wants and when I save a game I'll save with my name as part of the save file. That way I can always load my game. The folder move is a good idea...Typically I've gotten to where I save the entire game directory where the game is installed so that if I reformat I don't have to reinstal

Am I missing something simple. I have installed Sins, updated to the latest and now I'm at the "Player Setup" screen, I create my player and give it a name. Then I start a game, save it "call it SAVE A". Now my son sits down, starts up a game and creates a player with his name. He starts a game call it "SAVE B". Later in the day I go back to play. I look for my player name. It doesn't exist anymore. His is there and both save games are there but my playe
