Yeah, it was. Here's the video , might not be ready for awhile, but it's pretty smooth. EDIT: Well that link isn't working. I'll repost. There we go.

So I was bored this morning and I started playing a game I'd been playing for awhile where I had all my fleet points maxed (2000+) and all my ships in one huge fleet. I was zooming in and out a lot and found it went a lot smoother, and by a lot I mean like it was as smooth as at the beginning of the game when I only had one capitol ship and three frigates. Even when in a huge battle with another fleet that was huge, the game ran really smoothly. The directional arrows and all lines are sm
Oh yeah, a pewter Kol would be the coolest thing! [e digicons][/e] I knew it. I am getting that collector's edition for sure, but I sure hope I can get one...
But in the video they say there's more??? [e digicons]8(|[/e]

How will we be able to put in our name to purchase this collector's edition?
I don't have one of those..
Wow.. really? I had no idea. I always just had it set on auto and it cast retaliation upon itself. I'm surprised the AI is smart enough to do that.
150-200 creds really is sort of mediocre. He just doesn't have the right planets for a good economy (far too many asteroids).
I have tried sending a few ships to capture those planets, but the problem is that my Advent enemies simply bombed those planets into nothing, but left all the defenses of that TEC AI intact. There is still a huge starbase with a lot of defensive structures defending that Terran planet.
I was playing a game earlier and happened to look at this enemy ship .. why does it have retaliation? Those Advent capitol ships don't have that ability. It even has the two little light things above it. I also noticed that my allies somehow had way more powerful auto-cannons than me (I had 25 attack and they had 29 on Kodiak) even though we were both rebel TEC with all our pacts with eachother and I had all the researches for auto-ca
As I have said in another thread, the AI can surprise you with some utterly brilliant tactics at times. That said, I do not think they need a nerf (as suggested in the title). First, you should know that the 'Unfair AI' is... unfair... it receives more credits than it should; and you have less planets than the combined AI forces, so... you are probably severely outgunned economically; be pre
I've got to admit, I really hate high level destroyed Titans coming back to haunt me.

Dumb question.. I've been playing this for 3 years, but.. how do I pause the game so I can take more time to command all my ships? I know I can pause it by just going to the menu, but is there in in-game way?
I have been playing a Rebellion game for about 10 hours total and I have found the AI is good, really good. Map (I am the red empire) Picture of right chokepoint (with my fleet) (the top left one looks mostly the same) Size of my fleet I was on a random medium map where I had a ton of metal, but hardly any cry
Good! Because the AI keeps beating me when I attack their planets with their huge amounts of mines and like 20 capitol ships.
I do see that most of the weapons are lasers, but some of them are plasma, and so maybe Stardock people already had this discussion. I just think it would look a lot cooler if there were more than a bunch of blue laser-lines across the battlefield (battlespace?). I'd really like to know what everyone thinks of the moving parts on Titans though, that would be the bomb.
I know it's really late in the design stages, but I was playing the other night and came up with some ideas that would make Sins much more cosmetically cool. Moving Parts on Titans - So these things are already really cool and huge and all, but I got the idea from Galactic Civilizations 2 where you could edit the ships so that they had revolving parts. I don't think that would take too much memory and graphic power to have some moving parts. The TEC Loyalist Titan could
If you don't think you're up to date, or you know you're not, then uninstall the Beta and reinstall it. It will then download the previous version and the new update.
You can also uninstall the Rebellion beta and reinstall it. It then downloads the whole thing and the update.
AWESOME! But when I try and launch it from Steam it says the game is not available at this time. I don't see that it is downloading anything at the moment, and I'm wondering if it needs to update, but I don't know how to do that. Any suggestions? *EDIT* Uninstalled and reinstalled and it is working perfectly fine now! [e digicons][/e]
Well looks like the full version is coming out in June. What about the Beta 2?? I fully agree with Pbhead, rotating turrets is the epitome of awesome. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e] And yes this is one of the best single-player games of all time. If there was a campaign, then it would be the most incredible things I've ever played.
I played for 30 minutes and didn't even get to build an Advent Titan. They looked so epic in that opening cinematic. The new graphics on the advent ships and the effects on weapons fire was pretty cool. This made me sad that they retracted it, but I understand that Stardock and Ironclad have their own schedules to keep. I'd just like to know when this or a new patch will be made available.
